So are we ever going to see a 2021-22 Series 1 Checklist?

Originally this season Series 1 was scheduled to come out in November and OPC to come out in December. Obviously most years OPC comes out first though.

"Does it look like this product will ship on February 9 as indicated on the website?"

Their answer:
"This product should ship on the current scheduled release date.
I checked again this morning, I currently do not see any information of pending changes to the release date."

Honest question….. why does the release date even matter? This is the same question for almost every release since my rerereturn in 2005. I can’t imagine release date has any bearing on anything other than “bored stiff and want to know”.

Edit: I suppose the minutes and seconds are crucial to the case flippers, I just figured that one out on my own.

Maybe people want to know when they can buy the product? lol

When can I go see the new Spiderman movie? Oh, doesn't matter, I'll just see it when it comes out eventually. Why do I check the weather? It's going to rain eventually anyway

While it would be nice to break something new, I wasn't anticipating the product much anyways since I'm shying away from sports products.

That being said, how much did the pre-season hot rookies tank their initial YG value with poor play this year? Cole Caufield and Spencer Knight were pre-season favorites who probably would've commanded around $300 and $100 out of the gate respectively(baffling for sure, but no out of the question). Now? who knows what their initial prices will be. Sure Zegras, Raymond, and Seider have been great as rookies, they probably wouldn't have command the same hobby popularity as Caufield.

Upper Deck has been good recently at getting checklists out about a week before release. If there's no checklist, then there's probably no release imminent.

The rookies in OPC will only be the holdovers. That product's checklist was set well before the start of the season (even though the release has been delayed).

Does it really matter WHEN it will be released?
With allocation and the constant price increase after the initial release, who care? I DON'T from someone who would break 4 - 6 cases of UD1, UD2 AND OPC
With the exception on a few RCs in the last couple of years (Q. Hughes, Makar, Kaprizov, ......), what's the HYPE?
Even heard from dealers cancelling their orders 'cause of the initial out of the factory price for cases!

No one @ Expo was asking for Young Guns AND with NO 2020/21 SP Authentic and The Cup, it was a very good time, after 2 years, for dealers to onload some inventory. Ask any dealers set up "HOW did you do"?

Let's simply LEAVE it to Upper Deck to announce THE DATE and the rush to get THAT Young Guns set will be on!

Yeah, except almost every product is plus or minus months, and you never really know until the day it comes out, so it seems like a bit of a fruitless quest for guestimates. Whatever floats your boat, I suppose.

maybe people want to know if there is anything worth chasing for them in the release. the question was when are we gonna see a series 1 checklist. Im not gonna buy a single pack and dont care when it is released, but I want to see a checklist.....thats what floats my boat

Depending on WHEN it's released (I'm yelling out some words like others) DEPENDS on when/what I'm buying. Feb 2nd is between MY pays. Feb 9th is a DAY after. Do I buy more silver or do I waste MONEY on cards? (okay the yelling did not work for me)

Need to see a checklist to determine. I know what kind of silver I would be buying... it's the same year after year. But a hockey checklist? I need to know.
