SPGU Kaprizov Show & Question

So going through a five box break of SPGU from a couple of weeks ago. I was trying to decide what to keep and what to send to E-Bay, the big hit from the break was part of that question, but as I cropped the scan I noticed something I hadn't even seen on the card, but it's there. Note the black dot to the left of his helmet.



I've seen one other copy of this card, no dot. Any thoughts on where this came from, what it does to value, and if there's any chance/point in trying to pursue with UD? Feedback very much appreciated.

I'd contact Upper Deck and see what they can do. Maybe a mark from a Sharpie or something.

If it has gloss over it, factory printing error. If it looks like a dot from a permanent marker, still could be factory printing related, but related to the sheet as they print (might have been a bad sheet when going through qc and for something other than this card, and this got through with the mark?)

Either way, definitely contact UD.
