The Cup checklist via Beckett Collections - cards missing

This COULD be good news for player collectors, depending on how you look at it.

Originally, the checklist I saw on this site showed 22 Spezza cards in this set. However, when I try to find them on Beckett's Collections, many of them don't appear. They all happend to be autographed cards.

Spezza autos seem to be redemption cards these days, so are these cards missing in Beckett because they are all redemption cards, or because Upper Deck didn't bother including them in the final set since they would have been redemption cards?

Spezza recently signed at the store for UD. I wasn't there, but I am hazarding a guess that they were Ultimate, and/or the Cup.

Perhaps Dredjaw can confirm this?

I don't think that Spezza will be a redemption.
In fact, it seemed that Spezza did not realize that kids (atleast that is what he was told by store staff) would often pull a redemption for his auto. He was told of how many dissappointed kids there are that are stuck waiting to receive his auto.

If his stuff won't be redemptions, then I wonder why a lot of his cards didn't end up on the checklist (at least the one that's on Beckett's My Collections)

I don't think that fact that a given card will be a redemption precludes it from being in the MyCollection lists.

From what I've read/heard in the past, those lists are based on what Beckett gets from UD. Since I don't believe changes/additions are instantaneous in their database, who knows how long ago those cards were entered.

I'm one of those sad Kid's....Waiting on 7 redemption's of Spezza Auto's!

As for not having Spezza Auto's in The Cup...
That's Almost a good thing....Seeing as almost anything that would come out of the Cup would be out of reach for me!
