New Member, Must Send First
Well it's good to be back and I've been busy (a little too busy the wife says) stocking up and figuring out what direction I want my collection to take. I think I have a good idea where it's heading as you'll likely see below. I'd love to do a big long intro, but there's a lot to show so let's get on with it...
Always liked the look of the Super Scripts and it's nice that they come from a low-end product. I half considered attempting the set until I saw the outlandish prices some people were asking for 4th line players. So this will be my only one.
Picked these up from a great member, Coxy, so that I would have a few traders on hand should the need arise.
Always was a fan of the Ice Scripts and this was cheap, so there it is.
I don't know what happened here. Well, actually I do since I bought them, but I'm not a huge fan of any the players and it has nothing to do with one of them being the newest Sen. Still nice cards though.
I went through a brief Soviet phase a couple weeks back and ended up with these beauties. Love having a hard-signed auto and the pad piece has that awesome leathery smell to it.
Now, this guy no longer plays for the Sens, but he's still one of the best players in franchise history...and I'm a sucker for gold threads.
Another former Sen, but I couldn't argue the price for a 1/1 auto'd rookie.
Another cheap 1/1 I couldn't pass up and I really like the full logo cards. Decent player, unfortunately the card could be in better shape. There's a decent amount of whiting around the logo edges. :|
Some superstar traders. Never a bad thing to have around.
My favourite player from my favourite team. And a filthy pad piece to boot!
A couple more nice cards that are available. Yzerman is a 1/1.
This seems to be one of the IT cards to have this season so I jumped on board. Would like to upgrade it a some point to 9.5
Another nice one for the PC. These crazy multi swatch cards weren't around last time I was active, but boy am I glad they are now. Stunning cards in person!
Low-numbered star players.
This is where my PC is heading. I love the Sens and I'm a goalie fan, so it only makes sense.
And my favourite pickup from the past month. Needless to say the picture doesn't do it justice. Mr. Perry, if you please.....
