Verified Trader,
I recently attended the warehouse sale put on by Dr. Price. The memorabilia and related items were phenomenal. I was limited in what I could pick up due to the cost of our vacation plans, so I went with a product that had always been a favourite of mine - 00/01 Signature Series. There were a number of loose packs that were available, and I picked up the majority of them.
I'd like to share the spoils of my pick ups, but please don't turn this into a BAP/ ITG trashing post. Just enjoy the pics...
First off, as far as the actual one per pack autographs go, it was pretty slim pickings in my 70 packs... I haven't bothered to provide photos of any, but the best were my two SP's (Paul Kariya and Mark Recchi) and a Trevor Linden. You're probably wondering what I'm going to show from an autograph product if not the autographs... well, continue on to see...
What these packs did have though were game used. Almost every pack (all but three) had a game used in them. For those that don't know, 00/01 Sig Series was packed 12 packs per box, with one game used per box. I think what happened here was these were probably left over seed packs, set aside to ensure the 1 per box game used could be hand packed in... likely they ran out of regular autos to make up more boxes, and these were left over, put away in the warehouse and didn't see the light of day again until they started cleaning up.
Having only been able to open a few of these boxes back when they came out, this was an amazing find for me, and I was floored opening these. For now, I am going to be holding on to these, and enjoying the view as I never expected to have such luck with a 15 year old product. The design is clean, and while the jerseys /100 aren't that big a deal these days, the jersey autos /10 and emblem pieces still are.
So enjoy!
First off, game jerseys (/100):

missing are another Adam Oates, Chris Chelios and Nicklas Lidstrom.
Department of Defense Jerseys (/100):

Jersey and Stick pieces (/100) - some real nice stick pieces in here:

So yes, believe it or not, BAP at that time did do the occasional redemption card... the ones here are Luc Robitaille and Jason Arnott. The really cool thing with these cards though is they do have the JERSEY piece in them (you can see it behind the edge of the sticker) - the only thing missing is the stick piece, as described on the sticker too.
I then was lucky to pull some of the rarer cards:
Emblems/ In the Numbers (/10) - The Yzerman is one of my favourites out of these pulls:

Jersey/ Autos (/10) - so many Hall of Famers!... and these are all #'d/10 on the back:

And finally, Lemieux Legend (/30)
LM-1, LM-4 and 2x LM-5

This was an unbelievable, once in a lifetime break. It was a bit nostalgic though to realize this is a 15 year old product... I think the only card I pulled of a player still in the league was of Scott Hartnell... and he didn't have any hair sticking out of his helmet!
Thanks for the look!
Cory
