Stopped in at the monthly show in my area and took my uncle to his first show in years as he just recently got back into collecting after many years away from the hobby. It was special for me because he was the one who got me into collecting as a kid. Definitely had a great time! Picked up a box of Titanium from last year and a box of Ice (was hoping for Ultimate Vault, but none in sight). My uncle was on the fence about what boxes to get, so I bought a single pack of Masterpieces and Ice to show him what they looked like. Pulled a Turgeon SP and Lafleur Wire Photo from the Masterpieces. I hated paying $15 for one pack of Ice, but I'm sure glad I did as I pulled this guy:

On to the recent pickups. I decided a few weeks back that it would be fun to go back and get a few oldies that I liked, but never could get when I was a kid. Most fun I've had with collecting in a while:

And this one, which I've wanted since the first one I saw as a kid and just never could nail one down before:
a few for the 'ol Blues PC:
and a couple for my main player pc's:
I think that is all versions of Platinum, but not sure as I'm not very familiar with the set. If you know of any that I'm missing, please let me know.
