Well it has been awhile since i posted, life these past few years have been tough, from difficult times at work, to having both arms shattered and laid up for almost a year, to moving from calgary to Victoria and bringing my wife up from the states. i can't tell you how hard it has been. now that we are almost done with all the B.S. that we have had to go through do i see how much stress can change a person, or alter a persons view on life and how hard it is not to see negativity in everything or be negative about everything. The last few years has been really hard. to a point where at moments i hadn't even recognized the person i had become. That journey is almost over, we are just waiting on her PR card and the CRNBC's blessing for her to work as a nurse in BC and thanks to being able to see the finish line a lot of that stress has dissipated.
With all of that i have still been picking up a few cards to add to the PC, and hope to be around more.

In 2014-15 The Cup added red spectrum parallels to the rainbow. loved that years design and even better 14-15 was one of Yzerman's best years for his signature. some years it can get pretty wild but that year it was really consistent. So i made it a goal to track down his auto's and go for the rainbow (base gold auto patch /10, base gold spectrum auto /5, base red spectrum auto tag /3, base black auto 1/1) which i was fortunate enough to completed a few months after release. Then i saw another of the red auto tags /3 pop up and went for it and won it. ever since it has been a waiting game for the 3rd to show up:stare:.
Well, Chris (golgo13) had just posted his completion of the three Datsyuk auto tags /3 , which i thought was a feat i was not going to be able to replicate, when just a few days later #3/3 was posted to eBay. took a wash on it but was worth it to complete my first Quincy.

These are the three Aces reunited:

Thank you for looking (sorry about the long read), hope you all are tracking down the gems you have been after.

Sean.

Sickniss!

Glad to hear things are winding down for you and you can get back to yourself again!

I'm also so glad to hear that things are getting better for you and the stress is winding down. Hoping these scenarios and reflections can help pave the way for more positive experiences and frame of minds moving forward. In all situations, even the negative ones, there is always hope for those good days that will eventually show up again. Glad you were able to push through and come out on top. Hoping for smooth sailing for you both moving forward!

And as for the cards.. Wow. That is really special and I can't believe you were able to track down all 3 ! That is very hard to do, and is a goal for a lot of player collectors on here i'm sure. Congrats on this huge hobby accomplishment!

Those 3 look great together.

Sean, I am glad to hear the personal life is getting better and, subsequently, the relief of the stress.

Best of luck going forward and kudos to your wife for being a nurse, it's a very underappreciated profession.

Sean,

I'm glad to hear you're coming out on the positive end of things now.

What an impressive feat you accomplished there, they look amazing all together. The design of the card, down to the colors used, to the centering and presentation of the tags themselves, and of course his quality auto all make for a beautiful set. Well done =)

Sorry to hear about all your challenges. At least you are in a wonderful city in Victoria. One of my favs! Always good to have the family together as well. Congrats on the Quincy as those are some of the nicest pieces I have seen!

Sean, so happy to hear things are getting better for you and your wife. What an OUTSTANDING trio of Yzerman.......Bravo my friend
