Been awaiting awhile for this package, gotta thank Mario (Zatta-Nr1) for this mailday. If you come to California I'll buy ya a beer :beer: Been searching awhile for both of these cards!
This first card is from a set released in 01/02. Since I wasn't collecting back during that time (restarted in 2006), when I went back to create a master wantlist of Sharks cards, this one was high up there. This is the first copy I've seen live of this card, and now its in my hands:
01/02 BAP Memorabilia Update Country of Origin - Owen Nolan
....only a one color patch, but you just don't see these anymore so I had to jump when I had the chance :beer:
The second and last card in Mario's mailer to me is from BAP Ultimate. I've always been a fan of the "Heroes" subset from ITG and BAP Ultimate. And since I don't really collect much outside of Sharks, this subset affords me an opportunity to have a card with a HOF or HOF caliber player on it, while still keeping the Sharks theme of my main PC intact. Prior to this, I've only seen this card in a checklist. Again, this was prior to me getting back into the hobby, so this is the first live copy and its also in my hands:
03/04 BAP Ultimate Memorabilia Ultimate Heroes Mario Lemieux/Patrick Marleau
...glad to have these two landed. Have to love the feeling of scoring something PC especially so far after release dates of the products these cards come from. Thanks for looking all!
