Not the best night of fights. DJ is great, so is Rory. And Schaub got hosed, though not nearly as bad as Pearson last weekend.

A lot like the first Calgary card. Hope they come back to Calgary with a fight night card instead of a PPV next year.

Honestly I feel the same about Vancouver, also I think a smaller venue might serve us well in Vancouver too.

Calgary was confirmed for 2015 at the post fight presser I believe.

I think it's gonna be a long time before the UFC returns to Vancouver honestly, unless they were satisfied somehow with the turnout and attitude of the fans on Saturday. Granted, the card wasn't full of superstars, but it's still pretty disrespectful when such a high percentage of fans just walk out during the main event. It doesn't look good on the product.

I agree with the smaller card idea though, but not in Vancouver.

They should consider a place like Prospera Place in Kelowna for a UFC Fight Night. It's a 7,000 seater, and they could easily pack the place by doing a Rory MacDonald fight there if his next fight isn't a total shot.

Like if they announced Rory vs. winner of DHK/Hector Lombard for a title shot, and that was the main event. Even better, other locals like Sarah Moras (assuming she doesn't lose to Alexis Dufresne and get cut) could be on the card against someone like Jessica Rakoczy or Valerie Letourneau, and that would solidify sellout status.

Hopefully Sarah Moras' "aunt" doesn't show up to that card (inside joke...Gordon and Jon will understand this one)

I know with Calgary they agreed to a three event cycle with the Saddledome. I am going to presume that it is the same with Winnipeg (I expect them to get a show in 2016). I'm not sure if the UFC has fulfilled any agreements with the Rogers Arena. As this was I believe the third show in Vancouver.
