So, my first comment...I realize this game has been in development for the last 3 years, which is why you see guys like Cro Cop, Arlovski and Tito Ortiz on the roster.

But seriously...if you were able to stick Ryan Bader in there, there's no reason they couldn't render and develop Shane Carwin and Clay Guida. They got over that whole thing with Jon Fitch...I'm sure they could've done the same with Guida.

I'm not a big fan of some of the ratings, but I don't think it'll matter in the long run. If you've played the demo, you already know the game's going to be tons of fun, even if it's extremely striker dominant (has anybody actually won by submission yet? :D)

EDIT: Just noticed no Randy Couture either...maybe these guys'll be DLC?

Still havent been able to finish by submission too. (But I did get caught in a Kneebar and got submitted).

I think I will like this game more when I figure out what the hell I am doing haha. I have all the striking down and I know how to take guys down but I have no idea how to apply a submission?

Cam and Joel said they managed to figure out how to get Shogun to win by submission, but it took a lot of catching Liddell's Superman punches with head kicks before it happened.

Marko, the submissions are done with the right stick while you're in mount...if you didn't do the tutorials, it's actually worth going through because it's a friggin confusing control system.

Once you hit the right stick to execute the submission, is there anything else you have to do finish? Its seems like during the transition there is a point where you can force the tap or the opposition can reverse/escape.

I guess I could give the tutorial a try . hahahaha
Hey matt, did you get your ac/dc tickets yet? I got mine a week ago

Yeah they came in the mail before I left for Toronto...I'm on the floor somewhere...can't remember which section, but it's near the back.

nice dude, I am also on the floor. Ticket says floor sec a7 what ever that means. Do you know who the opening act is? Do you have any idea how many tickets have sold or what is expected for sales? Am I asking to many questions? Hahahahah

Opening act I assume will probably be the same guys they had in November...i think they were called "The Answer." They weren't bad, really...but seriously...they're not the reason anybody's going right?

I BELIEVE the show's a sellout. Alan (rectanglez) works at a shop where there's a Ticketmaster kiosk and said he couldn't get tickets himself and is relying on my buddy's wife not to go so he can buy my extra ticket...lol.

HAHAHAHA so I was joking the other day that they couldn't put Guida into the game because his hair was too hard to render...and then a friend of mine came across this today:

According to Fight! magazine (via 5thround.com), UFC fighter Clay Guida was cut from UFC 2009: Undisputed because his trademark shaggy locks were causing clipping problems and creating issues with collision detection. THQ supposedly offered Guida money to trim his hair so that he could be included in the game, an offer Guida seemingly refused.

That is freaking hairlarious. o man.

I have been playing with my buddy, I can win is day about 75% of the time. He likes to walk around constantly while blocking so I cant really hit him hard.

Anyway around that? Also, when I do a take down, how do I manouver around to a side mount, or better yet, a full mount so I can ground and pound him?

Every now and then he can get me in full mount, how do I get out? I can grab him and pull him closer so that he cant pound the crap outta me, but that only works for so long.
