From the MyMVP link,

"Nominate Your “Most Valuable Person"!

Upper Deck is looking for fans with the most team spirit! Do you know a superfan or someone who makes a positive impact on your fan community? Shine a spotlight on them by nominating them as your “Most Valuable Person”.

Who Can Be an MVP?
An MVP can be anyone from the superfan that gets the crowd hyped up with their unique gear or goal-scoring dance, or the mega collector whose house is decked out with team memorabilia and cards. MVPs can be from any of the 23 participating NHL® teams.

Nominate an MVP
On the nominations page, enter your contact information and a brief description about what makes your MVP a “Most Valuable Person”. Explain how your nominee shines in your team community and stands out amongst the crowd. Chosen nominees will be contacted to receive additional information.

Deadline
Come back soon to make official nominations.

How The Contest Works
Based on the nominations, up to twenty top nominees will be chosen to represent each participating NHL® team. Not all submitted nominees will advance to the public vote. There will be 2 different votes: Team MVPs chosen for each of the 23 participating teams and one ultimate MVP winner.

For each public vote, Upper Deck will post the nominees on Twitter. The nominees with the most likes during the specific time period will advance to the next round.

Team MVPs – The chosen nominees for each NHL® team will be posted on Twitter. The public will be able to vote for their favorite MVP nominee on Upper Deck’s Twitter account, @UpperDeckSports, from February 14, 2020 at 10am PST to February 23, 2020 at 11:59pm PST.

Ultimate MVP & Heart Trophy Recipient – All the Team MVPs will be placed in a vote to determine who will be crowned the ultimate MVP winner and Heart Trophy Recipient from March 5, 2020 at 10am PST to March 15, 2020 at 11:59pm PST."

Per the Upper Deck Volunteer Alliance Facebook page on how to nominate someone:

"We need you to create a short 30-45 second video of yourself talking about who you would nominate as an MVP to be used for social sharing by Upper Deck. The more animated you are when speaking, the more compelling your video would be. Make sure to share some details and stories about why your nominee deserves to be recognized as an MVP. Please share your video with us at [email protected] with subject title: My MVP Submission."

Pretty cool little contest, I like to think!
