what 2005/06 set would u complete?

okay well once i finish my current goals of 10 ultiamte phaneuf rookies and all of his rookies im looking to complete a rookie set of, in my opinion the greatest, rookie class ever

i want something autoed... so i thought spa, ultiamte or spx

what would you do????

ps i have the crosby spa rookies to start spa set or trade/upgrade for the ultimate or spx...

What is this ultiamte set you speak of? :D

I'd say SPA...there's a larger variety of rookies in that set with autos that Ultimate doesn't have.

If you want the smaller set to chase with higher overall value, then Ultimate.

If you want a set that better reflects who was in the 05-06 rookie class...SPA.

If you want it somewhere in the middle and don't mind the stickers...SPx.
 
i would say SPA all the way. spx is sticker auto and photo shoot jersey... not exactly the things that legends are made of

ultimate is nice, but SPA has more interest overall i think

I have to agree with Chad on this one. The set has really good looking rookies and is somewhat inexpensive to put together. If it were up to me I would put the Cup together but it is way to expensive. Good luck on your future project.

I would have to say Ultimate because I like the photography better even though there are fewer autographs. Also, Ultimate Collection has a lower print run as well as being hard signed.

I'd say Sp Authentic would be next in my mind. Nice cards, lots of autographs, but at the same time, many photoshoot shots. If you don't mind that too much, it's a great set to collect.

Spx, they seem to get less appealing every year...there's too much emphasis on the huge "X" leaving space for all of Gretzky's two eyes. The designs for the 05-06 Spx set were also not so sharp.

Id go SPA. You already have the toughest card in the set, so your halfway done the battle. Plus it is a very nice set.
 
For auto'd....SPA all the way!

For non-auto'd, well I would like to recommend Artifacts.
Im still chasing rookies from this set when at shows, and still cant seem to find some of the no-namers....its been an interesting chase you could say.
