As I'm sure pretty much everyone has noticed, there have been some amazing pieces coming out of ITGU of players that played 100+ years ago. I don't follow this market at all, but grabbed a beauty 4 player vintage mem last night and was thinking of maybe grabbing some more pieces of the vintage mem available in cards as a side collection. I know these are pretty much all ITG offerings but I'm hoping to learn more about some of the players they have used over the years.

I would love to hear about some of the older memorabilia that have been used in cards and also feel free to show any beauties you have in your collection or trade list

Ps- please no discussion on whether they should be cutting up pieces this old. Not what anyone is looking for in this post haha

Paddy Moran started playing professional in 1901 so that's gotta be one of the oldest piece out there. But like you said a few pieces are over 100 years old guys like Cyclone Taylor, frank Nighbor, George Vezina, Morenz. Plenty of guys on this board collect vintage pieces and have some of the most amazing collections. I don't collect as much now but the vintage pieces in this latest release are some of the most amazing pieces available out there.
Here is one of mine.

Upper Deck has some Gordie Howe jersey cards that may have jerseys that date back to the 1940's or 50's. but ITG has cards with memorabilia that date into the 1910's, and possibly 1900's.

I love vintage game-used myself, so I had ITG make me a pre-1920's Player card with one of my Made To Order redemption cards. All players played before the 1920's. What year the actual memorabilia came from...only Dr. Price would know.

My card (all skate pieces except the Lalonde, which is a pants piece):

Jack Adams 1917-27 ; Frank Nighbor 1912-30 ; Newsy Lalonde 1904-27 ; Cyclone Taylor 1905-23 ; Frank Patrick 1904-24 ; Georges Vezina 1910-25

Paddy Moran was a 1901-17 player, so more old gear:

Clint Benedict played 1912-31:

There are multiple Georges Vezina memorabilia pieces. The skate shown in the MTO card above, a stick, and the infamous "Why would you cut up a Vezina pad?" pad.

Here are two I have...one with that infamous Vezina pad...and then one with a stick piece (with quote marks and part of a letter).

So those players/memorabilia are probably the oldest pieces used in cards.

Are you looking for vintage memorabilia on cards or the actual memorabilia itself.I have a few old hockey sticks .One has been dated back to about 1890.A goalie stick from about 1916.An old pair of shin pads and shoulder pads from about 1930 or so.Some nice cards shown in the thread so far.

Appears he was only looking for memorabilia used in cards....but those items are cool, too!

This set will always have a special place in my pc. The jersey pieces right up into the 60's have real character to them, just love the look of them.

Curt that 6 piece is phenomenal!!

So much great history available on ITG cards which has always drawn me. One of my favorites is this individual piece of Newsy Lalonde. Such great cool factor. :)

My oldest was actually only recently pulled from my boxes of Vault; Hap Day played 1924-1938 for St. Pats, Leafs and finally New York Americans.

These two arrived today & instantly became two of my favorite cards, the 2/4 are the oldest pieces in my collection.

Some old...and moderately old pieces in this card I got last week:

Cyclone Taylor/Frank Patrick/Clint Benedict/Elmer Lach/Jack Adams/Eddie Shore/King Clancy/Toe Blake
