The last time the Anaheim Ducks played the Vancouver Canucks, Teemu Selanne had his best performance of the season.

For Monday's game at the General Motors Place, the Ducks (18-12-3) will face the Canucks (18-12-3) without their leading goal scorer.

The Ducks' struggling power play also takes a big hit without Selanne, the NHL's leader with 13 power-play goals. Anaheim, which has 24 goals with the man advantage, has converted one of its last 21 opportunities in its last four games.

Vancouver is wrapping up a four-game homestand and trying to bounce back from a 3-1 loss to Chicago on Saturday. The Canucks had netted three power-play goals and scored nine overall in winning the first two games before going 0-for-6 with the man advantage in the loss.

Not at all, and then they won't go ahead and call your reply "mindless drivel" just because it is not in support of their beloved Canucks. Its ok I can live with the obvious FACT that Canuck fans are inherently more intelligent than Flames fans based on their hockey team of preference.

I think it's pretty likely that Hiller will be in the net tonight... It's okay that Selanne's not in the lineup cause George Parros will pick up the slack tonight

Actually buddy, it is not your GOOD insight into games that bothers anyone. Like I have said many times, I enjoy most of your comments.

However, when you come into the thread to spout things like Sundin dying on the West Coast, and to just be a general pain, that is when it gets tiresome.

You are an intelligent hockey fan, and have a lot of good things to say. It's the stuff like is described above we can all do without.

You have taken this comment out of text. I meant Sundin is dying in reference to his annoying, yet larger than life, media presence. His "air" time on Eastern based programming is (hopefully) sure to decline now that he is playing in the West. Which anyone who is neither a Nucks fan, or Leafs fan, will tell you is a godsend.
