question about those 07/08 sweetspot baseball skin cards..

i'm curious if it's known how short printed or rare they are.. i have a chance to pick up a patrice bergeron one...

just looking to really get some feedback on this set / cards in general

I had the Tony Esposito and sold it to Tanguayfan,it was the only Esposito I have seen.Personally I think they are very rare,maybe no more than 5 to 10 copies.The Bergeron would be a nice pickup.Ron

I'm not sure if there is a consistant print run of all of these but I have only seen 3 or 4 Messier's and/or Lundqvist's. I suspect that those two guys have 10 or less of these. As for Bergeron, I have no clue. Love that set though. Mike

I love that set so much I'm trying to build it. I've never heard a stated print run, but if any player on the checklist had more than 20 I'd be shocked. I'm pretty sure that it varies from player to player since some guys almost never turn up. I've seen a few Bergerons and I have a copy of one myself. It's a nice looking card. I'd say there's probably about 10-15 copies of the Bergeron. If you have any other questions let me know.

i pulled a jarome iginla. oddly enough in a replacement tin from UD. sweet card. does anybody have an idea on the iggy print run?

I pulled a Jari Kurri in a group case break, probably one of three or so I have ever seen. There is no announced print runs and from what I can tell most of the cards on the checklist have never been seen so they really are very rare finds. Bergeron though is probably one of the most common I have seen along with, believe it or not, Sidney Crosby.

Really? I've probably seen at least 2-3x the Marcel Dionne and Patrice Bergerons as I've seen Crosbys. Still, the general consensus I think everybody agrees with is that these are pretty rare, and any chance to pick one up is usually a good call.

I've done regular eBay searches for these cards since the product was released and I've never seen a Lecavalier. Sorry.

Having not really liked this product in 06/07 I bought random tins 1 or 2 at a time of the 07/08 product. I was lucky enough to pull 3 baseball skin autos. I pulled Perrault, Parent, & Howe. I sold the Perrault and Parent, and the Howe is locked away in the PC. I really wanted to buy a Crosby but I am worried about the ink fading away on these cards like they tend to do on auto'd full baseballs.
