Gamers...what are you playing right now?

[QUOTE-Console specific content. WHY must they continue to do this? Why can't they just release the same game for the Wii, the 360 and the PS3 without worry of the fact that certain teams are only available on certain consoles?

Because this is how developers defray their production costs. Hey, consoles! Do you want a Batman costume and game feature exclusive to YOUR system? We're making it anyway - you pony up the dosh and it's yours.

Not materially different than retail/hobby releases for wax, or chain-specific releases for toys.

I understand from a business perspective why they do it. Hell, Microsoft wooed Harmonix into releasing Rock Band 2 for 360 a full TWO MONTHS before the PS3 release. It's just annoying is all. I don't find retail/hobby exclusive inserts and chain-specific releases as annoying simply because the content is still available to me in some form, even if I have to jump an extra hurdle to get there (ie. eBay.) I take a bit of issue when the content is available, and I just can't have it because I don't own the system / didn't buy it for the "right" system. I wouldn't even care if the content was free on one system and paid DLC for the other...cause again, the content is still available even with the extra hoop.

I have discovered the joy that is Nazi Zombies. It is doubtful that I will pick up any other game for at least 6 months.

thats the only thing the game is worth and did you find the secret arcade game? it awesome! other than that the brotherhood is the best game right....

I'm not playing Black Ops...that coes after Christmas time...I'm talking about WAW. And if you're talking about the new Assassin's Creed game, I wouldn't know. I've never been remotely bored enough to put an AC game into any of my systems. Arguably one of the least appealing titles to me that's out there...

Disintegrating stormtroopers with the Force is good. Rampaging through Renaissance Italy killing Borgia toadies with WMD designed by Leonardo Da Vinci? Much, much better. Assbro FTW.

Suffering with a capital S through Lucha Libre wrestling for the sake of the XBoxaddict.com review...

Finished the Lucha review last night, and will probably only play it through to the end of the Tecnicos story mode, since I'm already into it. The story modes are only about an hour or so long anyway.

Worst wrestling game since the Backyard Wrestling games, and probably the worst league affilliated wrestling game since WCW Backstage Assault. This counts all those stinker pieces of **** like WCW Mayhem, TNA Impact, WWE Legends of Wrestlemania (which is a masterpieced compared to this trainwreck,) and I'd even go so far to say that it's worse than the Legends of Wrestling games.

Not even La Parka can salvage it?

What was Konnan teaching? How to half-*** your matches and politic behind the curtain?

He teaches you how to play the game...but in his ultimate Konnan-ness, didn't bother to make the effort to record console-specific dialogue. So the game urges you to hit "DIS BUTTUN" to grapple and "DAT BUTTUN" to punch, instead of "Hit Left Trigger to grapple" :p

Might be the devs fault, but I like to hold Konnan responsible

This.

Also today I gave in and bought Gran Turismo 5, not the biggest fan of racing games but I enjoyed the earlier GT's. Between GT5, Assbro, and Red Dead Redemption I should be occupied for quite a while.

Finished with MLB: The Bigs 2 last night after a (just under) 2 month journey to complete the game modes. It started to get pretty boring by the end of it (especially when you had to get 262 hits in a season yourself since simming is useless for the most part,) but once you're that close to completion, there's no turning back.

Still...awesome game. Highly recommended to everyone.

I went back to finish the Tecnicos story mode of Lucha Libre and nearly died of boredom halfway through. Now I'm totally at a crossroads as to what to play next. I just bought Laura Fallout: New Vegas for Christmas, and I was tempted to bust it open and play it last night. Think I'll probably be going back to NBA Jam after this though.

Well after listening to people praise and bash black ops I went out last night and picked it up. The game is awesome and the graphics are great. I like it better than MW2. I also picked up Gran Turismo but have not taken it out of the wrapper yet because I am waiting for the Steering wheel.

I've been seriously considering picking up a wheel myself, going to try one at a buddy's place later on and see how they are :)

Started cleaning up the achievements for the first two Scene It games, and started the third, which is a piece of garbage compared to the first two. It looks and plays like a flash game with movie clips in between.

I've also taken up playing Leisure Suit Larry: Box Office Blast again, which is also quite the piece of work. Al Lowe must **** anger bricks every time he sees these games come out committing sodomy on his original masterpieces.
