This is a bored writer who didn't do his homework, or just felt like stirring the pot. He got the info off a fan blog that was posted over a year ago. Amazing how some of these "journalists", especially Wyshynski, get paid to write articles that are completely wrong.

Every dressing room has issues so what's new. There is so much stuff not reported and why should it be. Let them figure stuff out and if someone has the guts, write a book down the road in a tell all

This isn't really Wyshynski in this instance, it is Dan Bernstein, and David Diehl. I first heard about this on the radio up here this morning, because it was mentioned that neither of the media that made the claims were backing away from them. So whether it's fabricated or not, it is making the rounds.

It's making the rounds because like most things these days, the media is always looking for something negative to report on without actually finding out if it's real. The media is just a cess pool wanting controversy and people scared all the time and driving racial barriers all over the place. That stuff seems to sell and the media posts garbage all the time without even verifying if it first. There is no such thing as only reporting once you have verified info from a credible source anymore. You can find literally thousands of new articles online each day with bogus information, and this is one of them.
You guys should know all about it with the Luongo drama, the media took any information they could and ran with it even if it was from a guy who heard from another guy who used to make popcorn at the practice facility who told the janitors kid who then told a friend on the playground.....

By Monday morning there will be media types whether it's online or radio talking about how Tampa Bay almost traded Stamkos to the Sabres for Gionta. Or Tavares was almost traded to Buffalo for Stewart. Or how Patrick Kane was almost sent home to Buffalo for a 7th round pick and a set of new zamboni tires.

Bottom line - it might have happened, it might not. Even if it did - in that locker room - something like that getting out to the media would be death for the player who leaked it out there if it did happen.
What happens inside those doors stays inside unless there is a rat, especially in a veteran laden room like that. Everything else is speculation, if it comes from anyone outside that room

Patrick Sharp calls Blackhawks rumors 'false' and 'laughable'

Patrick Sharp’s name has been bandied about a lot lately. Some of it has involved rumors of his time remaining with the Blackhawks and his play.
Sharp can deal with that. But recently other rumors have surfaced. There are rumors of fights with teammates, of dissention in the Blackhawks locker room and of infidelity. And Sharp has had enough of those.
The Blackhawks right wing addressed the rumors, some of which have made it onto online blogs, following Sunday’s practice. Sharp called the rumors “laughable,” and said it’s been tough hearing them.
“As a player, as a professional, you’re out there and you’re up for grabs for on-ice play. Trade rumors, talk about my play on the ice, I’m fine with that,” he said. “When people delve into your personal life and make up rumors and things that are untrue, it takes a toll on you, your family and friends. It’s completely unnecessary. It’s been tough but we have a strong group of teammates. It’s almost laughable.”
One website listed several alleged incidents involving Sharp, who said he is considering legal action.
“Anyone can type something on a computer and get away with it and not be held responsible or accountable,” Sharp said. “It’s laughable but when it affects your family, when you have two little girls at home and your parents are calling you, it takes a toll.”
Several Blackhawks players spoke about the rumors, including the supposed disconnect in the locker room. On Thursday a former NFL player sent out a vague tweet about a fistfight in the Blackhawks’ locker room, alleging it happened after Patrick Kane was ruled out for up to three months (fractured left clavicle). The Blackhawks didn’t skate or practice in the two days following Tuesday’s game, in which Kane was hurt. A source said there was no truth to the alleged locker-room fight.
“Some of the rumors that have been said are laughable. There’s nothing going on with this locker room,” Brent Seabrook said. “I’ve been here 10 years and nothing’s going on. We’re a tight group, we have everybody’s back here and we’re focused on our job, which is getting to the playoffs and winning another championship.”
As Sharp said, the rumors have affected him. That includes on the ice, where Sharp has struggled this season. He has just 10 goals in 49 games and is also a minus-13, his worst posting in that category since his 2006-07 season with the Blackhawks.
Sharp said he’s found comfort being with his teammates.
“I’ve been here a long time; we have no chemistry problems in the locker room,” Sharp said. “To hear my name get dragged through the mud like it has been the last couple of days, it takes a toll. Thankfully I get to come here and be with these guys.”
