Today I received my first ever order from COMC. All cards except Dionne/Robitaille, Yzerman and Kurri (which I received last week) were added to the main post. I have been doing those COMC Challenge's (I find them somewhat therapeutic) for a while and snagging these over the last few months, so I didn't actually spend any money (precious time perhaps) on them. I added the total price to the tally anyway, but perhaps I shouldn't. Any opinions?

I would say if you didn't spend money on them, don't count it towards your total.

Very cool... I had to check to see if you were the one who bought my Verbeek on COMC but mine went for $1.40 and the auto was a bit different... so there was someone else out there who was looking for that card which boggles my mind...

I find it amazing that his autograph can't pull in more than a buck or two. Also considering that he doesn't have that many certified autographs to begin with. Crazy.

Today I received Mahovlich from HI's Dan (27Leafs27), who sent me a message after my original post saying that he would look through his stash and ship off a beauty Mahovlich to me and what a beauty it was! Woooo. Someone else working on the same project at me! Granted I'm not using a budget, but still it's such a cool collection. I just bought a Gretzky for $115 which I thought was a super steal. Keep your eyes peeled you can find value buys even on the big ones. I got all three of my rocket autos for less than $100. Stay patient you'll find what you need.

One more HI generosity addition today. Jason (chefjason) sent me a PM saying he had an extra Recchi from when he did his set.

On another things are a bit slow, COMC seems to be the main route since shipping costs are ridiculous on eBay, but no hurry whatsoever.

Things are moving quite slowly, but I have some incoming thanks to a trade here on HI (I will count those by how much I spent on the cards I traded, seems logical) + some sitting at COMC, but today this beauty of Bucyk arrived.

I am quite confident I will manage. Baby steps.
