Thank you my friend. Another KHL card was crossed off the list today.

Added this sweet triple insert card /18 from 18-19 SeReal Leaders of The KHL 11th Season:



This card features Dinamo Minsk players Evgeny Lisovets, Andrei Kostitsyn and Jhonas Enroth of course. Very shiny.

Another oddball addition enters the collection today. Always nice to get some Team Sweden stuff!

2019 AMPIR IIHF World Championships - Team Sweden


I can be a tad hesitant to pickup oddball or 'unofficial' cards like this (even though I like to have everything), but this Ampir IIHF WC set has been produced for a few years now, and also has a lot of "reach" in overseas player collections. Seriously, those European collectors will pickup anything of their PC guy, licensed or not, which is so insane I love it. They aren't "handcuffed" by picking up only the licensed stuff & that alone, they go all out which is inspiring.

So with all that being said, it gets the green light in my books as a card I wanted to own for the collection. These cards are well made and the surface has this cool dark shine to it.

Intriguing pickup! Would be cool to see a video of the card to see that dark shine you mentioned.
 
Updated the Enroth card collection today with 10 new 1/1's! Yes, you read that right. In a deal with a former Enroth collector Craig2, I was able to pickup the following 09-10 The Cup Printing Plates:



Not as cool (or as large) as Billie's recent Ville Leino printing plate haul, but I'm happy. Not everyday you get to knock 10 one of one cards off the want list. :dance:

Holy moly, that’s an epic haul! It’s not even possible to acquire that many Cup plates of a couple of my PC guys haha. Congrats!!!

Thank you! I definitely appreciate mail days like these because I know how lucky I've been to have had the oppourtunity to acquire a large amount of Enroth's harder to find rookie-year cards so many years later. HI member Craig2 used to collect Enroth many years ago, so he's been a big help in shaping my collection; primarily with a lot of the 2009-10 stuff.

Thank you so much! I appreciate that. I know my collection isn't of a HOF goalie or anything, but I hope my fellow collectors enjoy seeing my ongoing pickups for my collection. I'm in it for the long haul.
 
Added this 2013 Team Sweden Team Issued 6X4 card today! Always nice finding out about cards you never even knew existed. Fantastic addition to my collection!

I was scrolling around Tradera (Swedish eBay) when I saw this one posted last week. It's so hard to find European issued stuff, so I'm always glad when I can track down (Or just become aware of) pieces that I didn't know existed.

I also had to win quite the last minute bidding war to snag this oversized card if you can beleive it. This one came from Germany of all places. Cool, right?

I also did a full count of the collection recently. Including duplicates, this card is #467 in the collection. Will 500 be in my near future? Only time will tell. Crazy to think I'm almost at 500 cards for this collection.

I've seen these Corona cards in KHL player collections before for many years now (I think it started back in 2013-2014? EDIT: 2011-12), and these oddball Corona KHL sets have been circulating for years and is quite well known and popular amongst collectors over there. Enroth was included in last year's set, and I'm glad he made it into the 18-19 Corona series.

Also, this is the first time I'm sharing a recent Enroth collection pickup by using my website (creasecollector.weebly.com) to host the image instead of using a specific image hosting site like Flickr, etc, etc. Really neat. I did upload this to my Flickr out of sheer habit, but I technically don't need it anymore if I'm going to use my own platform to display/host my PC additions. Just a thought in case any of you were wondering what to do with all of your card scans. Creating your own space can work just as well. If you would like to know how to post images to forums directly from your website (as I know a lot of you have your own online platforms dedicated to showcasing your player/set collections), please send me a PM and I will gladly assist you. It's super east to do.

And best of all: No photo limits!

And dispite today's 4-3 OT loss, Enroth's Dinamo Minsk team has been playing great as of late, including back-to-back shutouts for Enroth in their last two games! :beer:

Nice pick up on the Corona card! Is it an insert or just a subset of the base set? The oldest card from that series I've got is 2011-12 of Korolyuk. No idea if an earlier issue of that set exists or not. We both know getting a checklist of Russian stuff is a nightmare.

Thanks! I think Corona exists as a series of subsets, if that makes sense. Each Corona set is its own thing. The Wall, Russian Traditions, 3 Stars, etc.
