Graded cards aren't something I planned to pickup when I started this collection, as I normally do not care for them personally (no offence to the graded card lovers out there), but they are slowly growing on me as cards I'd like to pickup when I get the chance (price permitting, of course). They have added another avenue to this extensive Enroth collection of mine.

Do any of my fellow player collectors feel the same way? Would love to hear all your thoughts - whoever is viewing this thread.

This latest graded card brings me up to 5 for the collection. We'll see if/when anymore make their way into this collection someday.

I've felt the same in the past about Hjalmarsson. Don't focus on them at all, though, to be fair, his stuff almost never gets graded, so I don't have to worry too much. But, I have picked up a few of his graded cards if the price is right and would do so in the future if I feel like I want them.

Very much so, my friend. PSA 10s - and ONLY PSA 10s - are a niche part of my collection as seen here:

They weren't originally on my radar either. I think I expanded to include them during a lull in my regular collecting. I try to get as many different cards graded PSA 10 as I can, to the point where I seem to have been so successful that I've hit a wall there now too. Today, if something comes up that I need, I couldn't afford to go crazy or "all in" on it, but at a certain price point, damn right I will. Tops on my wish list there is a PSA 10 copy of his OPC RC. They're popping up much more frequently now than when I first started looking for one, but the prices aren't reflecting that yet. I don't expect it's a card I'll be able to afford anytime soon unless the recent PSA scandal softens the market on them.

I feel this. I was in a similar boat because Enroth doesn't have that much graded stuff out there, either. So it's not a big thing I have to be on the lookout for very often so I can be very casual when (or if) I decide to pickup a graded card for the collection. In fact, 2 of the 5 Enroth graded cards in my collection was given to me for free. So it's not something I need to add to the collection, but I'll admit that they have been surprisingly fun adds for the collection considering I never thought I'd pickup a graded card in the first place.

Thanks for your personal insight into the topic, Joe. I find it interesting how each collector can go about things a little differently than others.

Your collection of Larry Murphy graded cards is really something else. I really like the variety of different graded cards and the chase for the top grades.

Of course! Blackwood got a hold of one of Enroth’s old CCM Premier gloves because he really likes that 580 break that his glove has. Blackwood is very particular about his gloves and prefers them fairly worked in apparently, which is why he’s been wearing older gloves. I’ve heard he has a Bobrovsky glove as well. Neat stuff for sure!

I’m a goalie as well so naturally I’m a bit of a gear head haha. In the goalie world I’ve seen people mention Blackwood’s Enroth glove a few times now. Glad Enroth is still getting some goalie love!

I thought it was pretty cool and when I saw it on the broadcast I immediately though of you and this thread.

Updated this afternoon with a sweet insert from one of the newest SeReal products. Glad I was able to add another new addition to the collection this week!
