The UPC on the Walmart site matches the YG Blasters (6 packs + YG Jumbo) as being on sale for $19.92, not the Mega Boxes shown in the picture. The Mega boxes still scanning in at $54.

7 packs per box and ygs 1:4, which is better.... But the regular price is $42…?

Still listed as a value box, but the description says 4ygs per box... Who knows what they are actually selling.

It appears that none of the Calgary stores have them in stock, but I was able to order 2 online for pick-up at the store next Wednesday.

My daughter wants to rip some packs with me; I figure at $20/box I couldn't really go wrong.

Just went Walmart in South Surrey. They have lots of these boxes. It's the six pack blasters on sale for $20. The value boxes are $54 for 10 packs.

Basically UD has jacked up the prices and decreased the number of packs by about 25%.

Busted my 2 boxes and the results were lack-luster.

Oversized YG's - Texier, Myers
Canvas Base - Josh Bailey

At $19.92 for 6 packs it is pure gambling...some are going to take it hard (i.e. me) and others may actually hit a Hughes or something nice.

Not a fan of the Jumbo YG's just thrown in the box without the plastic wrapping from previous years. :curse:

J Hughes is down to $85 CDN, Q Hughes is around $50 CDN, Poehling is under $20 CDN now...the value just isn't there in this year.

Between UD screwing up badly with retail and the weak Rookie Crop, this retail will sit for a long time. I see they cut the number of cards in the jumbo packs as well. UD is getting cheap it seems.

I was going to pickup a blaster box yesterday at WalMart, but not at these prices. Looking like it's just not worth the value anymore. Even before in the past few S1/S2 releases it was worth the risk, but quite recently not so much.

20$ per blaster, that means like 80$ for a retail box, it's not cheap. I bought a box of retail UD2 15-16 for 35$ during the black friday sale. Last year, I got UD 1 17-18 retail for 40$.

Just to chime in here - check with your local hobby store.

I am not at all pleased with the change in configuration in the retail stuff, but I am able to beat Wal-Mart's pricing on most of these items. For instance, Wal-Mart is $49.92 but I'm $39.99 and $34.99 for three or more.

It looks as if we have different products than Wal-Mart in terms of configuration, including the 9-pack box that has the Team Triple pack and the smaller 7-pack blaster which doesn't have the jumbo.

Also, I just have to shake my head when I see retail boxes in the states for $45US. That's below my cost.
