Having spoken to a scout with strong bona fides, he believes Lafreniere is a difference maker. Plus he's not slight by any stretch of the imagination with a need to fill out physically like Hughes. It's not like you're getting Taylor Hall, who is a really good complementary player, but has not shown the ability to make teammates better or has a great hockey IQ.
It's mind boggling to me that anyone would think Lafreniere won't be an elite player. He's got all the tools and the desire to win.
