For anyone in Canada tired of spending $14 minimally to get a card shipped from the US, I just opened a "Get It Shipped International" account after having person after person tell me how much they loved the service.

If you are interested, here is the site and if you sign up...

I've had an account here for some time and I can't recommend the service enough.
Anytime I've reached out for assistance they are extremely helpful and quick to reply.

Its a great service in that if you get some bubble mailers and a few boxes of stuff sent to your box, they will open up everything and then carefully repackage them together in one neat and tidy package to send across the border. Saves a TON on shipping costs.

If I were to request my box full of whatever shipped back to me I would ask for a quote on Monday. By Wednesday I will have the quote, the exact amount it will cost to ship everything across the border. By end of week its on its way, even at peak covid.

I will have to check it out. I have shipped to a few buyers with a Get it Shipped address and was wondering how it worked.

I use them since November 2019. With the promo code , i have the 12 months V.I.P service plus the tax free location for under 100$ U.S a year. I buy small time cards (under 300$). If your buying multiple K cards , i would suggest finding out if you are covered by buyer protection by having your purchase sent to a third party. Couldnt collect basketball without them.

Thanks, spent so much on shipping $ last year getting into bball cards. Just got the VIP at discount!

Anyone know if worth shipping package from COMC then to Canada? Or would that just end up costing more. What’s everyone’s experience with extra duties charges?

If you have other cards at G.I.S.I and want them ship to you with your COMC purchase yes. If you only want your comc cards better have them shipped direct to you. I usualy wait 3-6 months to have my G.I.S.I stuff sent to me , cost me 40$ for fedex 2 days.

Having your stuff shiped from G.I.S.I : You decide if you put gift (no duty) or goods (duty) and the declare value you want.

I add some cards misplace : some of my purchase ended up in another p.o box , saw a 50-60$ cards in my scans upload i didnt bought also. Keep an eye on your purchase , tracking number. Dont wait to long if you see something is missing or something that shouldnt be there to resolve the problem.

Agree that GISI provide a great service.

But serious. This is my only fear with their service.

My experience is they're very good and accurate in what they're doing. But obvious, with that many cards they're handling and with that many boxes they are in charge of they are going to make mistakes and put cards in the wrong box. And I don't really think you can do anything when that happens, only hope the person who get the scan is honest, report it and your card is instead placed in the unclaimed box.

It's also a bit inconvenient when you have a lost card to claim a refund from the seller. Probably it's been lost in the mail but you can't tell for sure the GISI staff hasn't misplaced it. And that shouldn't the seller be responsible for of course.

This problem can of course be better handled if you always use tracking when you have card shipped to your GISI box. But this is a downside with this kind of service.

Thanks so much for the insight. I'm definitely going to keep track of this on a spreadsheet to see how much I really save in the end. It's good I get the VIP service for the pictures then.

I think I'll have COMC ship direct to me, I feel like the wait time would be even longer haha.

Jason Tatum Select rc and a few superstar vets from same release. Told the team and cards were removed.

Has anybody used both GISI and ShipMyCards? I've only used SMC and find their service great.

Havent used SMC , but i think they charge X per card receive or processed ? Think i saw 2$ per card , 5$ per lots , 10$ per box. If you buy alot these add up quickly.

Once you pay the 3-6-9 or 12 month fee with G.I.S.I , you have no other fee's then shipping back to you. Havent checked yet but you will also be able to flip cards with G.I.S.I members like you can do on SMC.
