Hey all. Just picked up my box of President's Choice Solid Gold from the post office, and I couldn't wait to rip it.
If you'll remember a year ago, I happened to pull the Braden Holtby Vezina Winner card from my box. I thought, no way lightning can strike twice with luck I'd get a PC card....can it?
I don't even know how to rank these, to be honest. They are 1A, 1B, and 1C to me. So, I'll show them how I think how others would rank them.
Card 1:
2021-22 President's Choice Solid Gold Vezina Trophy Winner #VT-8 Jim Carey 3/6
- WHAT?!? What are the odds, seriously?! Whoever is packing my boxes over at President's Choice deserves a darn raise, that's all I know. Sorry, GoalieFan89, but this is staying right here!

2021-22 President's Choice Solid Gold Game-Used Tag #T-10 Leon Draisaitl 1/1
- Very cool card with a piece of tag from Dr. Drai's pants. I could be persuaded to part with it if a Capital were coming back to me.
Card 3:
2021-22 President's Choice Solid Gold Handwritten Word #HW-7 Frederick Stanley "has" 9/9
- My mouth literally dropped when I saw this. It is such a cool piece of history, easily more special to me than a Draisaitl 1/1.
