USA shipping to Canada

Hello, I am looking at buying my wife something for Christmas from the States (I am in Canada). They have free shipping in the USA but its $50 shipping to Canada (US dollars so about $70 Canadian or something ridiculous)!!! Does anyone know or use a good shipping service that would save me some money? I'm only looking for this one time purchase so don't want to set up a regular box or anything. Thanks!!!

Do you have relatively easy access to the USA border? Not sure where Three Hills AB is. Get a free "Kinek" account, and pay the $7.50 USD per item delivery fee upon pickup. That would be one option.

The same company also runs something called PUDO (Pick Up Drop Off) that would come to a PUDO point in Peace Hills, but I've never used this service. But I think you need to buy "credits" or something.

Nevermind. I looked on Kinek and your closest Kinek pickup point is just south of Vancouver BC.

I take it for granted as we have one not too far away from Winnipeg, in Pembina ND.

Thanks for the tip, its over a 5 hour drive to the border from my place so not really feasible. I was hoping there was a decent forwarding service out there but it might just be something to bite the bullet on.
