Haven't opened a full box of any UD product since Series 1 due to lack of QC with some damaged cards but with no fairly priced racing at the local hobby shop, I grabbed a box of 2008-09 UD2. After this break, it leaves me again scratching my head - this is why:
The Good:
I hit Four Jersey cards in the break - A Chris Campoli and Mikko Koivu Regular and a Drew Doughty
]) and a Shawn Matthias Rookie Materials.
I hit two Exclusives (which are 1:48) - Miroslav Satan and a YG of Steve MacIntyre.
The Best:
I hit a case hit - A Rookie ClearCut Winners of Blake Wheeler xx/100! :bruins:
The Not so Good:
Only Four Young Guns - MacIntyre, Fritz, Varlamov and Festerling.
The Victory Golds are 1 per box, I got none of them.
Regular Victory Rookes were decent though, hitting Brunnstrom, Oshie, Mason, Doughty, Boedker, Filatov and Pietrangelo among a couple other guys.
Other inserts are 1:4 packs, I got 8, met the odds.
In the end, I'm happy about the Wheeler and it's cool that I broke the odds and everything on the GU/EU, though there is someone likely out there with eight YG's in their box and no jerseys..
