Seriously... Weirdest break ever.... Firstly all of the hobby cards have no gloss on the front. The retail cards have no gloss on the back. That's shameful. I know it's just base, but UD S1/S2 is known for its base, and its a very popular base set to build...I think the garbage base made this all the more surreal.
I busted the 2 hobby box first...My hobby hits...well just one. It's a nice patch, but a bad player. I was disappointed overall with the product at this point. Useless base and only 1 hobby hit...
My jersey cards. Think I beat the odds on this one. Once again, no real great players though.
To top things off, some serious collation issues. Of 30 YGs, 4 were this guy...hopefully he becomes a star...
I pull a canvas card and take a closer look....Rod Brind'Amour...™™™! A retired canvas star...I've never pulled one and the odds are long. This was from retail too, which I didn't think had these cards in it. It does this year, but the odds are 1:192. I then took a look through the rest of my canvas cards, and Rod had 2 buddies with him.
In the next tin, I was looking out for them...Doubt I would have missed this one though...At this point I'm laughing at what's going on...it's odd very odd. Blaming it on the downright strange collation.
Oh...and sometimes bad collation works out well!
Also took a look and it turns out I have 4 Henrik Haapala YGs too...very odd.
