2015-16 Upper Deck Tim Horton's Hockey Cards

I bought 10 this morning... odds worked out to one insert card in every pack for me. Really like the look, they a little disappointed they have some players in their old unis, like Kessel with the Leafs. But very nice cards nonetheless!

Just grabbed four packs with the kids and then a 100-ct box. Will be breaking it now and all will be available. Will post the results in about an hour, I would guess.

* One full 100-card set and another ONE FREAKING CARD SHORT! LOL, this was excellent collation - anyone got a spare #38 Bryan Little?
* Three sets of the Season Highlights and spares
* Two sets of Die-Cuts and spares
* One set of Shining Futures and spares
* Platinum Profiles singles - 2 Sittler, 5 Theo Fleury, 7 Zetterberg, 10 Stamkos, 11 Lundqvist, 12 Crosby
* Above The Ice singles (acetates, these are SHARP) - Stamkos, Kane, Nugent-Hopkins, Zetterberg, Price, Giroux, Karlsson, Doughty, Lundqvist
* Franchise Force singles (lenticular, also nice) - 1 Mark Messier, 3 Patrick Roy, 6 Carey Price, 11 Crosby, 12 Ovechkin

How nice is Above the Ice insert set? Sooooo nice.


I wish they brought back the goalie glove styled inserts. As a kid, I loved the mesh goalie gloves.
 
There are plenty of packs to be had here in Grande Prairie. I bought 20 packs today and every pack except one had an insert of some kind in it. Got a Platinum Messier and Franchise Force Kessel, and Above The Ice Price. The best of bunch I suppose. The only pack limitation I had was the fact I had to explain to the cashier three times they were selling cards even though there was signage all over this location. Staff was clearly not informed here.

Wayne, how much was a case?
 
The packages are $1.99 per pack with no limit, unless the store doesn't want to sell a bunch at once. The cardboard boxes are 100 packs at a time, and I would suggest asking for a box. I think they were going to just give me random packs, but the collation is good in the 100-ct box.

So, you had to pay $200ish for a box? Seems like the odds of hitting a jersey, or auto is rediculously hard.

with inserts hitting as often as they do this seems like a much better return than gambling on regular hobby wax where you average out ~$40 for every $100 spent
 
I figure I am doing something wrong if I can't at least break even out of this and I didn't hit anything major. Makes it kind of fun to break!
