yea it is hard to score 50 goals nowadays. I am very surprised Ovechkin has 32 and I know he has missed a few games but still. I thought Stamkos would have 60 this year but he really coooooled off the second half!

he's the man this year. don't watch a lot of ducks hockey but I don't see why others hate him so much other than the fact that he put in 50 goals this year

Elbows, mouth, knees, stick, spot picker, can you see a mix of Claude Lemieux and Darcy Tucker? Gotta say I would love him if he was on my team, but an easy guy to dislike if he's not. Still happy for him though, netting 50 is a big deal and the Ducks are not a playoff team without him. If Getzlaf didn't miss as many games as he did, would Perry be sniffing 60 right now?

Perry's been pretty consistent so I don't think it made a difference. Maybe if Getzlaf wasn't there he'd have even more goals, who knows. He's single handedly (with Hiller) won some games when Geztlaf was out so you never know...

Easily the MVP this season. With both Getzlaf and Hiller out for a good portion of the season, Perry carried that team on his back.
