59-60 Parkhurst Set

This is another of the early Parkhurst that only include Toronto and Montreal. This is the only set I have seen that includes other front office staff such as Stafford Smythe, Frank Selke and King Clancy.

How come they only included toronto and montreal players in the set?

Parkhurst had all the players at the beginning and then Topps came on the scene. The first few years Topps had all the US teams and Parkhurst only Toronto and Montreal. Later Detroit went to Parkhurst and so each manufacturer had 3 teams. Parkhurst was producing cards until 63-64 which was their last year.

Amazing thanks for the information, I've never looked into the older sets I just assumed that a set would have included all 6 teams at the time.
