97/98 Zenith >>> I Dared to Tear

Well first I have to say, this was the most fun I've had breaking a box in a LONG time. Definitely be picking up more of this if I can.

Never broke any before so not sure how good this box was so maybe you guys can help me out.

Pulled all the good rookies: Elias, Morrison, Tanguay, Luongo and an absolutely MINT Lecavalier.
Also pulled a Z-Gold of Messier #30/100 and an Gretzky Epix Moment

Now I also pulled a 5x7 Lecavalier. What do you guys suggest, tear him? My 5x7 Elias had a regular Elias in it but I think that was just a fluke as my 5x7 Tanguay had a Berard base.

SWEET pulls! Congrats! That messier should bring in a pretty penny as the golds are **** near impossible to find. As for the Vinny 5x7, if anything, I'd take an exacto blade to the back and gently slice it open if you want to see what's inside.

You know, I tried cutting them with a blade but just couldn't do it. There's a little piece of sticky in there that holds the cards and I always end up tearing the 5x7 trying to get the small one out without damaging it, lol!
So I don't think there's any way I can save the 5x7 if I open it.

Not bad Not Bad at all! I think you did well for this stuff! As for the 5x7 do not tear it. What's the point? The odds of getting something better are stacked against you. No point throwing out a sweet rookie for a Jagr Base card

Don't tear it I am sure you could get a nice price for it on the bay....might even pay for 1/2 or more of another box....I would think both vinny's are rare since there could be one in side a other high end 5x7's as well as commons some people just don't want to tear and a few morons decided to tear their Vinny's perhaps...I have a Morozov I decided not to tear...I know I know...but the chances are i would pull a crappy base card anyway
