A Trio of Flyers onto Waiver's!

Philadelphia Flyers have placed forwards Petr Nedved and Niko Dimitrakos along with defenceman Nolan Baumgartner on waivers.

HHMMMMMMMMM!! Me thinks a shake-up is in order! After the drubbing the Flyers took at the hands of the Sabres!

Kind of odd to drop all three this early in the season...It would have been interesting to have been around the team to see if there more to the story after getting it handed to them by the Sabres 9-1. At any rate I was kind of shocked to see this at the bottom of the ESPN ticker that all three were let go.

Niko's a hard worker, but he's developed hands of stone over the past few years. Nedved made a huge mistake by not signing a sweetheart deal with Edmonton a few years back.

No doubt Esche was left in to send him a message about badmouthing the coach before a start. I bet Esche wishes he played for Randy Carlyle after that *** kicking

Nedved went to Phoenix because he figured his wife's career was more important to him than his own.. With a supermodel wife, Edmonton is not exactly a Fashion Mecca..

Personally, I'm breathing a sigh of relief that he DID go to Phoenix; even with the chemistry he had on the team, it was destined to be short lived, and he would have left us on the hook for his salary without the goals to show for it.

Why not waive that Pylon defense they've got? They'd be just as far ahead carrying four defensemen, each logging 40 mins a game, than those two lugs Rathje and Hatcher. How appropriate that the Flyers have orange jerseys.....and I bet Esche now wishes he had kept his pie-hole shut ....he just played and yapped his way out of the starters job....

I'm glad people now appreciate Rathje's true value (or lack thereof).

I certainly hope Esche loses the starting job to Nitty. I just recently got Nitty as a throw-in in a trade.
