Some of our southern neighbors wouldn't understand the title above as happens to be the catch phrase for the chain of Tim Horton chains all across Canada. The reason I'm using the slogan is because my Timmies made it to my door from the auctions of Ebay in a record 24 hours. Mailed yesterday morning I found it staring out at me from my mailbox this morning :). Here she is, the newest cornestone to my vintage collection, the Tim Horton's 1 of 1 Superlative Enshrined cut auto! Comments are always welcome :). -Mike

Nice card if you like great autos of one of the all time scarcest and most intriguing players to find autos of :D

All I can say is you're a thief...plain and simple.

Mmmmm..Yes, I'll admit as much. If I didn't take it there was Ernie (DredJAw) waiting in the wings to take it. And we all know Ernie doesn't appreciate vintage ;).

Don't even think of rolling up the rim on that beauty!!!!!

Very nice score. Congrats

Nope, not rolling down anything. But on related news I showed my Timmies card today and received a free donut with my order! Mmmm,...sprinkles... :)

Mike, congrats!!

A steal by any book. The only thing that card needs is more cowbell !!!!!!!!! :D

There I was... on a dark and gloomy Friday morning. Frank from gamebreakers initially told me he was going to pick me up at 2 to head off to the expo. "Cool!" I said... a day earlier he PM's me with a message, "Be ready for 12". "Even better!" I thought.

How wrong I was. On a cool, damp, spring morning, around 10:40 I decided to pack up my things for the expo.... I should note I was on ebay from about 10 - 10:40 constantly refreshing. I also should note that I should have packed up the night before. Anyways... after a quick comb through to make sure I didn't forget anything (stupid toothbrush), I arrived back at my ebay chair at about 10:50am. Figured I'd take a look at the "completed listings" ... you know.... just to check to see what I may (and I stress... may) have missed.

There it was. Tim Horton in all its glory. My eyes lost in its beauty. Staring at it like a 9 year old who saw his first set of hooters.

I wept myself to sleep... and have ever since

Beautiful pickup Mike! Glad it went to someone that can appreciate it and not just flip it.

I think you may have just brought 3/4's of the message boards to tears, along with myself Ernie, with your eloquent recounting of the events leading up to your barely missing Mr. Horton. 'Staring at it like a 9 year old.....'. Those words will live with me for some time amigo...And the hooters part of course, lol.
Thanks Ernie and I hope you nail down the next Horton auto cut for your impressive collection :). -Mike

You just got shown up from an American on Canada's most famous slogan :p

That's their current slogan Mike but like many companies they once used the one used in my topic . Do you think McDonalds was always 'I'm lovin it' or do people old enough to remember know 'Grab a bucket and mop, scrub the bottom and top. Tell me what does it mean, at McDonalds we're clean!' You deserve a break today, so get up and get away, to McDonald's!'. A far cry from todays 'I'm lovin' it', lol. -Mike
