Poor guy and his friends...had their entire lives ahead of them
a 22 year old that had a suspended license, and a prior DUI conviction. Now tell me why this guy should ever be allowed in society again? He shoudl be executed in my opinion. You just killed 3 people, by acting like an animal. Its sickening. Whats worse is this happens alot more often then you think, and you never hear about it and these people get slapped on the wrist.

The kid should spend the rest of his life behind bars, Having lost an uncle to a drunk driver I vowed NEVER EVER to get behind the wheel of a veheicle even if I think i'm ok to drive. This is a senseless tradgedy that never needed to happen.

Agreed 100 %..Never allow this Idiot out on the Street again.But Knowing the WEAK LAWS,He will probably serve less then 10 yrs & get out & do it again.Untill some LawMaker,Govenor or Sentor's Child or family member gets killed..This BallPlayer Had a Bright Future taken away but some Selfess Idiot...I've Vented..My prayers to these Kids Families

wow...this is just awful. i had the pleasure of meeting him a few years back when he played A for the Quakes and he was great to me and my mom. i have a small collection of him because i was so impressed and was really looking forward to him making and staying with the big club this year. just sad, couldnt believe it when one of my friends told me at lunch because he knew i liked him from last season.
if anyone has anything of his i would love to see it! i hope the POS who did this and killed 2 others gets everything possible plus some.
me and my mom were planning on getting this framed at some point once we got an 8X10 of his with an action photo.
its a RC Quakes(High-A) Game Used Jersey Signed from the July 4th game. this is when i got to meet him is when we won this

Very sad and senseless tragedy. More evidence that once people stray from living a honest life, they don't change. I deal with people like this daily and it is a wonder how some of them make as far as they do in life. Although it won't change anything or make the grieving process easier, the driver of that van should be locked away forever.

Not to make light of the situation, but there should be a law in place that if you face a DUI, you should be badly caned. What a ridiculous choice to make, especially if you've faced the charge previously.
My heart goes out to the family and friends of Nick Adenhart, as well as the Angels' organization and its fans. This is a senseless loss and compounded by the joy he provided of pitching a great game on the night he died.
Ridiculous. The guy who did this needs to burn for it. Make an example for all of the other idiots out there who do this thing regularly.
