yep he does have the card, i am sure, cause i saw all those when i dropped by the store couple of weeks back
 
Is anyone going by his store anytime soon.
Need someone to make a list up of all cards missing from him and see if he's still trying to sell them.
 
Alright guys, package is EMPTY. I havn't opened it and I just signed for it at the post office. I can feel that there is absolutely nothing inside the bubble mailer.

What might be the best course of action for me now? I don't need to go to a police station to verify that there isn't anything inside this package.

Take it to the police and file a report on him. Also, might want to find a notary in your area (usually at a title office) and inform them. They can be a witness and prepare a document of what they witness for about 5.00 or so.
You need to contact paypal and notify them of the situation and then get a fax # so you can fax the notary's report to them.
You should go after this dirtbag with guns blazing.
 
Wow what a piece of ****. Ryan (Triple B), Erik (silentbrown) and myself will be paying him a visit at the Thornhill show tomorrow. If he is there, he will be getting an earful from us.

How about you email one of us your number. If we see the card in his showcase, we'll call you and contact the police on the spot for you.
 
What this ****head probably did was sell the card to someone else but pocketed your money as well. I'll do this for you tomorrow. I'll check his showcase and see if the card is there. If not, I'll just go up to him and snap a picture of his face with my digital camera... he'll ask why, and I'll tell him, "thats for the police... 'cause you are about to get ****ED seriously for ripping off phate"

PHATE - go to the police station and file a report and ask the police what to do from there.

I'm not going to open the package at all since I know there is nothing inside.... and to be quite honest, I REALLY don't have the time to be running to the police station right now with Christmas coming up. I work two jobs and still have all of my shopping to do since I've been working on University exams the last two weeks.

I can't get through on Paypal's telephone lines, so I guess I'll have to try in the morning at work. It's a long distance call and they don't have a toll free number from what I can tell, so I can't sit on hold all night.

Anyway, thanks for your help guys... and if anybody sees the card and he's still got it in his possession, please remove it from his grubby hands and give him a kick in the teeth for me.

If I see the same card in the showcase, I will call the police for you. I will have a printout of the auction ready. Please email me your phone number ([email protected]) and if the police show up, I will call you and you can confirm your story with them. But knowing Igor, the guy will probably be too chicken **** and just hand one of us the card to send to you...
 
Are you absolutely POSITIVE that there is no card in the bubble mailer? It could be in a card saver or something possibly?? I don't know, it just seems kinda funny to send it without anything in it... If he was smart he would have at least sent a top loader in the package... doesn't make any sense at all, which is why I ask if you are absolutely certain???

100% certain there is NOTHING inside the bubble mailer. I thought exactly the same thing - if he was smart, he would have put SOMETHING in there to make it at least seem like there is a card in the package - but I assure you there isn't. The whole package bends everywhere with absolutely no resistance at all.

It actually makes me feel pretty sick. As a University student, spending 150.00 on a card isn't exactly small money when I'm paying tuition. The excuses and the whole situation is enough to drive me ****ing nuts, at a time when I really don't need the hassle.

Alright gents,

Call it off. I opened the package, and the card was in there and I am an idiot. I bent it every way from Sunday and broke the toploader after I wrote the last response to Rod. I heard it crack and almost screamed. The card isn't damaged though!

I feel like a moron and I hope you guys don't go running to Igor tomorrow. :o

However, I still say avoid the guy after the runaround that happened.

I'm going to hide my head in shame for a few weeks... I feel bad for causing all this trouble.

I'm really sorry guys.... I jumped the gun. :( Thank god I didn't start screaming murder on Beckett...

Doesn't really matter, as Igor has done enough damage to himself as his pratices over the pass 2-3 months on many sites.
I don't care if he has a 1/1 Sakic/Sundin/Gretzky card for a $1.
In this hobby, you have to keep a good standing name 24/7/365 -- not just when you feel like it.
I am happy at least one person is happy after dealing with him.
 
And here I was going to turn him upside down for you and shake the card outta him! Ah I might do it for the fun of it anyway;) I'm sure there are other cards in those pockets of his that belong to someone else!

I'm glad you got the card and this can be put to rest.....for the night that is, tomorrow is another day :p

but you are very lucky, you bend the card possibly as many as ways as you can, and the card comes out unharm

Yea... heheh thanks guys. I feel like a moron.... but I feel fortunate as well. I cracked the side of the top loader case pretty good and completely missed the card... I still don't know how.

Anyway, he still lied to me about sending the card, and I DID have to file a paypal complaint in order to get the card on its way to me. He's still a tool - don't deal with him.

wouldnt deal with him even if he was standing infront of me. Of course, if he was standing onfront of me id have to wear a gasmask
