Anyone send cards to Beckett at expo?

Hello all.

Just wondering if anyone else sent cards for grading at the expo.

I'm getting anxious waiting for them.

Anyone one else waiting or got them already?

Also sent. The guys said they'd charge my credit card once they got the cards back and were shipping to me. Still haven't been charged yet.
 
A couple of folks who are routine users of the service have told me that they're quite behind of late.
 
Coincidentally I have been getting anxious too. I reached out to BGS earlier this week and got a response yesterday:

We are working on the Toronto orders now. Please contact Grosnor next week for updates.

This my first time using the Expo submissions. Will BGS send all Expo orders to Grosnor, then Grosnor mails out the individual cards?
 
Yes I also sent in a few cards and have been waiting, was going to email at the beginning of July if they still hadn't shown up, glad to hear about the update

Great thanks for the update.
I was getting worried too as they said it would be 5 weeks. I've been check my credit card everyday for the last couple weeks.
I sent 23 cards over 7k.... so I was getting really nervous..
 
they really screwed up right around when they jacked up their prices, I sent a card in for a 10 day grading through my US friend, and it turned to a 2.5 month wait and I still didnt get my card OR my grade yet
 
COMC has also indicated delays. My "6 week" grading is on its 8th week.

Oddly, two cards came back much earlier than expected, so I'm assuming they're just a mess over there.
 
I have a friend with a huge order, 500+ cards that has been out for over 6 months. He is losing his mind!

Sorry to hear about the wait, I know it must be frustrating. Waiting for cards to get graded seems like time slows down. Sounds like Beckett is really far behind right now...

Wow...... that's gonna be a big bill!!!
 
Living in Dallas I have the luxury of dropping them off at Beckett myself for grading, and I can absolutely confirm they are waaay behind on orders. Talked to one of the graders and he didn't really have an answer, other than they made some personnel changes...
 
I don't know what the difficulty is in opening a Canadian office. People up here grade like mad, so opening a Canadian office seems like a no-brainer. I've actually been asking the question since about 1998 and the answer they have given me is that "we'd love to, but it isn't feasible at the moment". 19 years and counting...
 
I submitted 3 cards oh the Sunday of Expo and I was told "the wait' would be at least 8 weeks.
I am exercising patience!
 
Update: I sent off my group submission on May 1st and just got the email today that my order is shipping.

Hopefully everybody's expo submissions will follow.
 
FYI, I heard back from a Grosnor Rep today after asking when we can expect to receive our Expo orders, and how they will be delivered:

"That batch should be back here next week, we will ship them back via canada post signature required."
 
They backed out of a raw grade event at the recent Denver show, citing their backlog. Royally screwed the promoter of the show.
