I'm tardy.

Anyone remember ^ ?
Short-lived but a very funny, underrated show

Okay I'm tardy on my monthly bills...er show and tell

Here are my pickups from the past 5 weeks

Whalers:

First a huge shout out to Norm (trekrun) who saw my last post filled with Whaler stickers and was generous enough to knock a whole whack more off my list!

1981 Howe OPC Sticker

1983 Whalers OPC Stickers

1984 Whalers OPC Stickers

1985 OPC Sticker

1986 Whalers OPC Stickers

1987 Whalers OPC Stickers

1988 Whalers OPC Stickers

1989 Whalers OPC Stickers

1994 Whalers Panini

Also threw in these cool packages

1981 1983 OPC Stickers Packages

Once again Norm, you are the best

Some Topps versions from ebay:

1982 Whalers Topps Stickers

Some more Whalers also added.

Shanny and O-Dog are featured heavily with a little KD and A Little Ball of Hate

2011 Verbeek Pan Ltd Spot Gold 25

2016 Verbeek Fleer SC 92 Ult 25th 25

This next one is a cool item - one of the oldest Whalers items I didn't have

1982 Dimanche/Dernière Heure Photo

I really like this Mr. Hockey I stumbled across

]2013 Howe Panini Box Day

A little factoid. I am the same age as when Mr. Howe retired. Does that mean my window for making the NHL is closing?

Now some more player collections additions

Foegele:

2018 Foegele Ult RC 299

2018 Foegele BD RC 99

The Foegele PC is coming along nicely

Larmer:

1992 Larmer Semic

This one came from Finland appropriately enough.

Vachon:

Chronology was a welcome sight to a person with many retired player PCs

2018 Vachon Chrono 222

2018 Vachon Chrono Mini 60

Liut:

2018 Liut Chrono Mini 60

Very happy to see Mike back again and in Whaler Green!!

Thanks Mike

Burke:

I was hoping there would be a Chronology Burke Whaler mini here, and there would be. If it existed.

I was anxiously following HI breaks and ebay listings, waiting for the Burke to show up as it was on the advance checklist.

Days tuned into weeks and I had a bad feeling. A card /60 should have surfaced by now.

I check the card number and check against ebay and sure enough my feeling were correct. Burkie had been replaced with Shanny. Darn.

Burke hasn't been in an UD product since he retired, other than stamped retro buyback issues. I guess I will have to wait longer...

Francis:

Mr. GM of Seattle doesn't show up much for me anymore. Not much I need and nothing new surfacing. Glad to find one I did need though

2002 Francis BAP FE SL

Gartner:

Mike G has been a focus for me this year and lots of goodies out there I still need.

2018 Gartner Chrono Mini 60

2018 Gartner Chrono TC

2018 Gartner Chrono 0 Cel

2001 Gartner PH 500 GS GU

2015 Gartner Artifacts GU AU 25

That's it for August+

Thanks for dropping by

Wake me up when September ends

:D

Fun afternoon Geoff sorting thru a super monster box and some boxes of stickers.
Nice helping out and ENJOYed the read!

Round here these posts are well read! Love the sticker additions (I see a non-Whaler was included which is just Boss!) and the Gartner explosion is making ripples in the PC pond! Seth kept it Green as did this post...looking forward to the Fall offerings!

What show was that????

Nice show Geoff. My favs are the stickers as I have fond memories buying packs and packs of those and filling the albums. Great looking leaf in there as well.

Congrats

Cool show and tell, I love seeing all that green every month, those stickers sure bring back memories.

The Bossy photo is part of a DUAL MINI sticker with 2 numbered players as part of the set, fun to sort!
Also the FUTURE STAR stickers are part of a subset featured on the back of the regular set sticker.

Loving the stickers. I have been working on my early 80’s sticker books, they use to bring so much joy.
