Hey everyone!

There is google but word of mouth is the best form of advertisement. Planning to head to Toronto soon for 2-3 days

Was wondering if anyone can recommend any good card stores. Not looking to buy wax unless its from 1990-2008 ish. Would love to head to a shop that has singles (like rookies / parallels / inserts from 97-2006) or so.

Just seeing if there are any nearby. Always cool to see older cards that aren't on ebay/comc. Then again maybe everything is just on there nowadays. Appreciate any info!

Red Nails II is a good one.
Cardboard Memories in Brampton is good also if your willing to drive. Lots of wax there.

Going to piggy back on this thread as I will be in Scarborough for a week in mid-June (grew up there, parents still live there).

I'd personally like to look at 2002 to 2004 ITG and BAP singles, especially for my three PCs: My 2002-03 ITG Parkhurst Retro; My 2003-04 ITG Action Jerseys; and My 2002-03 BAP First Edition.

@TMLFan3 would those shops you mentioned have that kind of stuff?

Prob not, maybe if your lucky a card or 2. They have mostly new stuff/some older rookie singles.

Although I haven't had the time to actually visit, I'll suggest this place: Coffee with Cards

I heard about them from a friend of mine and thought it was a pretty cool concept. I also met the owners at the last expo and they seemed to be pretty down to earth.

They're located in Grimbsy which is closer to Hamilton, but if you're travelling from Cleveland you drive right through Grimbsy. It's actually a decent little town that has now exploded with new builds, but the 'downtown' area is kinda cool. I'd suggest to stop in and check it out!

Pro Tip: If you like southern BBQ style food, go to Memphis Fire in Grimbsy. Some of the best BBQ I've ever had, although the best thing on their menu us the sneaky cheese burger. You won't be disappointed.

I know you said no wax, but Breakaway Sports Cards in Ancaster is another cool little shop. They do not have a ton of singles (if any) but the owners are good people - I used to buy into their breaks relatively frequently. Lots of good food around there too and Ancaster is a nice place to explore.

Have fun.

In Niagara Falls, Canada the one shop I know of is M and L collectibles, it's a fun store to explore and if you are crossing the border in buffalo/fort erie it may be worth your while to go and visit DAcardworld.
