What do you prefer and why? Blasters, tins, megas or 24 packs boxes?
Better format for UD1-2 retail?

Mega as they usually come out on Black Friday or something like that were they are 50% off. Load up on them then they are great value as you seem to get 3 YGs in the majority of them and you get the Canvas YGs too.
Outside of those I would only do the 24 pack boxes. The new format for tins and blasters does not give enough value.

You're asking me to choose between things I find very unappealing. I used to enjoy tins the most because you got 12 packs of 8 cards and a nice oversized card for about $30 US. That felt quite fair, and the tin was attractive too. But today, there is no retail option that I would purchase.
The tins are no longer a good option IMHO - we're down to 9 packs plus the bonus pack now - so the odd tin you will get a third YG. Although in the past I have seen the tins yield a little bit more as far as Canvas SPs goes.

I appreciate all your opinions. I'll give mine. I hate that UD stopped putting the jumbo YGs in a cello/plastic, many come damaged out of blasters. I'm not a big fan of the copper/gold OPC Glossy being so similar, if you don't have both you're always in a doubt about what you have. I developped an appreciation for the 1994-95 Tribute cards and the odds are slightly better at some pulls in the megas, so at full SRP my first choice is the megas when buying from Walmart, but usually I pass.. During the black friday/boxing day sales, I pick the format they have in sale and I stock a bit for the rainy days.
In the past, I've been buying older retail 24 packs boxes at really good price. UD1 14-15, UD2 15-16 and UD1 17-18 at around 40CAD were really fun. But those days are long gone!
With all the hobby wax so expensive now, I'm thinking of going for 1 UD2 20-21 mega at release for my birthday. My next purchase after this will be SP retail 20-21, probably a couple of boxes. I did well with the single box of each previous year I opened and I really like the RCs /1199.

I don't understand why they don't expand the OPC Glossy RC insert set beyond 10 guys. Make it 20... give it some difficulty in putting the group together.
