Bidding vs. Sniping

I always have my phone on me oat I have the app, I have the 15 minutes remaining alert notification set up. I'll put my max bid in with about 5 minutes remaining, I know what I'm willing to spend, so I don't bother with a bidding war or sniping

Darn, it looks like eBates only gives 1% for certain categories in the US, Sports cards not being one of them. Same with Shopathome.com. I guess it could be worse, since I still get eBay Bucks. That $38 I got back on a single $380 purchase last quarter was pretty nice. :D

Aeroplan looks mostly Canadian as well, although I haven't completely ruled it out yet.

Thanks for the tips!

I forgot to mention that all that stuff is Canada-centric. eBates.ca and aeroplan is a Canadian thing too. I don't know if either works in the US. but the US has eBay bucks so I guess it kinda evens out.

But ebates.ca does allow for sports cards through ebay.ca though. It shows in that link I posted earlier.

Cheers,
