Calgary Sports Collectors Show.....

Had a great time today, picked up a few decent amount of Turco cards. Looking forward to day 2. Had a great time talking to those of you I met. Anyone that is going tomorrow, bring your Turco cards.

Got a nice PC Hockey card tonight. Although UD never intended for it, its a cool "Calgary Connection" card. Heatley grew up in Calgary, played all his early Hockey here, High School Etc., Getzlaf played several years with the Calgary Hitmen.

Also got a few nice PC Football cards.

I could not believe that NO ONE had any high end MAF cards, that was a shocker for me. I

Got home not that long ago from the show, it was pretty good, did not find a ton of stuff for my PC but it was still fun ... met quite a few people from these boards which was nice. I will show my pickups in a post hopefully tomorrow.

I'll be heading over today most likely. Had company over so couldn't show up yesterday.. Hope to see a bunch of people there.. Will be wearing my Iggy jersey and carrying around a box of traders.... Come say hi if you know me..

For those of you who introduced yourselves, good to meet you.. For those of you who came through & I was too busy giving the schtick to. Sorry I was unable to put a face to a name.. Also, Tom again my apologizes for not saying thanks in the first place..

Oh yea, each day there were 200 grab bags given away with a paid admission and still more than that came through the door. Kudos to Dale & Angie for outstanding production. Talking with the vendors & they were happy.. As happy as vendors can be!
