I am curious...

2015 ITG Superlative Record Book, RB-04 Cheevers 02/15

The back only states that it is "a piece of game used memorabilia".
It has writing: "ehid" there could be an S or w in front of the "Sehid" or "wehid" ??

I assume it is his glove (or blocker?).

Any help appreciated.

I'm guessing glove or blocker. They used horsehide leather on a lot of equipment back then, and it was usually embossed on the leather somewhere. So I'm guessing your sehid comes from the Horsehide wording...

Edit: Take a look at these vintage Cooper player gloves (Cheevers used Cooper goalie gloves for some of his career according to photos I've seen) on ebay - note the photo of the palm:
