Has anyone had an auction just disappear? I had an auction with like 4 days left and it wasn't under active sellers anymore, so I thought for sure that someone had hit the BIN. Nope, not under sold. It's just..gone. Ever happen to anyone else?

Do you have the sellers ID handy? They may have been NARU'ed. If they are, then all auctions disappear completely. Sometimes when doing my accounting for stuff, it is tough because the details all disappear for these auctions.

No, no. I mean my auction disappeared. But just that one as I still have 4 others with almost the exact same sort of item.

That's weird. Maybe you've been NARU'ed! :D Not sure. Do you happen to have the item id? Could it have been delisted by eBay due to some violation?

I've had it happen to me plenty of times. Auctions that I've been watching have just vanished only to resurface again. I think it happens when the seller removes it for some reason.

Apparently, they deemed my item (an autographed baseball) as being fraudulent. Which is flippin' unbelievable, because every baseball I have I've handed to the player and watched sign. Which makes me wonder: they cancel 1 but not all of them?

They won't cancel the auction if you state that the item was signed in person. Also, if you claim to have a COA they will not honor it unless you are a known authenticator.

Sellers cancel auctions also the time when someone makes an offer they can't refuse or if the item isn't drawing much interest.

My guess is that someone didn't think it was legit, reported it, an eBay agreed. I had this happen once early in my eBay "career". I bought a pair of sunglasses at a garage sale that had the Oakley symbol on them, but I had no idea if they were legit or not (I know jack about sunglasses - I buy mine at Wal-Mart). It got pulled. I guess someone felt they were not real, and eBay agreed.

It has happened to me as well. It can also be the listing title misrepresented the actual item
