“Edmonton Expo” New Card Show in Edmonton

Hi,

I was looking at Flying to Toronton for the Expo in June. As I went to the main page for the Expo I saw this:

Is this a "New" show in place of the Summit, or has it taken over the Summit or is it a competition to the Summit??

Anyone know??? Thanks.

Yeah I was hoping to see more details as I planned my last visit to Edmonton around the Summit that got cancelled and I wouldn't like to get burned again. Does anyone know if this is a sure thing. Any dealers who are already signed up?

I just had coffee with a couple guys who have booths booked.
Credit Cards have not been charged yet.
Two players are advertised to sign autos.

Guy putting it on is solid that is for sure. I do not see any issue with the Show happening unless a change in laws in Alberta for gathering/covid etc. Since the Show was pushed back in Toronto maybe wants to make sure it is a go before it goes all out advertising.

I know i would go for sure if my schedule allowed.

It will be well run and top drawer Show.

Would anyone who attended the past Summit show and Expo agree that this show is less than 25% the size of Expo. Still a sweet show. Maybe the new promoter will increase the size. There will certainly be more demand for booths.

I would say at it's peak it was closer to one third the size of the Toronto Expo.
