Something strange just happened to my Xbox. I started it up and I got E-68 or E-78 and had the Right Side and Bottom Left lights go Red. So shut it off in shock, then turned it back on and it was fine, no freezeing, no slow downs. Was it just a random thing, or maybe was it a controller problem and it was just ther 2 on the right.

This I believe is actually one of the beginning telltale signs of an impending red ring. I'd call XBox Customer Support and see if you can get it replaced. I believe they do red ring and E78 replacements.

I just played the demo Brutal Legend and I have to play the full version now. I love how it's so heavy metal based. Nhl 2110 still gets played daily.

Just checked Xbox.com. I think E-74 is the one signaling impending doom, not E-78. But either rate, now's a good time to register the thing on Xbox.com, to prepare.

This isn't necessarily true. I had the full on red-rings a few months back, shut it off and turned it back on. No problems since.

I was watching Jimmy Kimmel the other night and Jack Black was on there to promote the game. I never heard of the game and I thought it was just something stupid.
I check on gamespot.com, ign, etc, found out it got good ratings to my surprise lol.

I shelved Bioshock in favour of Prototype. The Unreal engine in Bioshock was starting to annoy the crap out of me.

Dallas09... I picked it up as well (Borderland) in Canada at Walmart only 39.99. Such a good game so far. Been two days and already at level 19. Also bought WET, it's quite enjoyable. Marvel Ultimate Alliance 2 if you played 1 you'll like 2 and of course NHL 10, which has been a staple in the collection since 94.
