Gamers...what are you playing right now?

I'm playing Resident Evil: Darkside Chronicles right now. Once that's done, I'll move onto Dead Space: Extraction which I picked up on a boxing day sale. Then, I'll finish off Uncharted 2 and start Ratchet and Clank: A Crack in Time. Maybe some COD: MW2, although that really isn't my thing....

With university I don't have a whole lot of time to dedicate to games, but I play a few hours here and there to relieve the stress and think of something else. I have a PS3 at home, but it's my roommates'; otherwise, I have this laptop and my 5 year-old PC, so gaming is pretty limited. Mostly I play :

Fallout 3. Have yet to download the expansions, but will do it shortly as I've just finished the main storyline. Absolutely love this game!

Hearts of Iron III on PC. Very time-consuming, but I love the Hearts of Iron series since it's WWII grand strategy. Don't be surprised if you haven't heard of it...it's not that known and not always an easy find!

Doom I and II...nothing like some good-old fashioned 2D hack-and-slash here and there! I play at ultra-violence of course.

That's about it lol.

I can't wait for the release of Dante"s revenge. This game gives new meaning to the word Evil! Try the demo guys.

Ok here is a dumb question. How do you host an online game of gta4? Not party mod but regular free mod. I want to pick the options like manual aim and all that.

I just finished playing Assassin's Creed II for PS3. I was very surprised with this one as the first one wasn't that great. The story line was very interesting riddled with a mix of history and fiction. It was a fairly long game which was nice and the graphics were solid. The only thing I didn't like was it was way too easy. The only time I would ever die in the game was when I fell off a rooftop. The bad guys were just to easy too kill. Over all though a great game!

Just finished Modern Warfare 2 on 360, really enjoyed it but it's far to short. Now I've loaded up on games with boxing week sales so I now have to choose between, Modern Warfare (yes I played 2 before 1), World at War, Fable 2, Battlestation Pacific, Halo 3 or Halo Wars.

Or I could play Wii Sports or Wii Sports Resort as there's now a Wii in the apartment as well.

Well I finished COD WaW, really liked it. Played Halo 3 for all of about 15 minutes and decided I shouldn't play it after a COD game (especially since every time I wanted to zoom I ended up throwing a grenade instead). Played Halo Wars on skirmish, it's fun but I'd rather play Starcraft. Played Battlestation Pacific for a couple hours, it's not bad but couldn't keep my attention much beyond that, I'll go back to it. I started playing Fable 2 yesterday and am really enjoying it, interesting that you still make money even when you're not playing.

For you Assassins Creed players, Is the first one just really slow to get going or is it the same pace from start to finish? I tried playing it but found it wasn't engaging enough in the beginning.

It does kind of slowly move but I don't mind it. I can't wait to get through it and get to the second one.

I just bought the original Assassin's Creed as I only briefly rented it and while the game moves a little slow, the game is pretty engaging.

Assassin's Creed II improves on all aspects though.

Thanks guys, maybe I'll give it another try when I get through the couplel that I'm playing now. I also keep forgetting I have Lego Indiana Jones and Kung Fu Panda that came in the bundle with the 360 that I've never played.

I just bought Super Mario and Double Dragon 2 for the NES off Ebay last night. I can't wait to fire these game up. It's been about close to 20 years since I played either game.

I love indiana jones lego...........playing number 2 with the son right now. WEll once he is no longer grounded from games

I just started playing Mario Brawl on the Wii and I absolutely love it. The graphics are astounding, the gameplay is amazing and there are plenty of modes and unlockables to keep me playing for months. Only downside so far is the laggy online play.

I'm playing Uncharted 2: Among Thieves for PS3 right now. I really enjoyed the single player campaign and am currently hooked on the multiplayer right now.

Having played both of those games in the bundle, I will admit Kung Fu Panda is better than it should be. Play it on mute though since you know...Jack Black and all.

Playing through Bioshock 2, Mass Effect 2, Dragon Age: Origins. Bioshock I've only played Multi-Player, but am enjoying the online. I have a connection at Bioware, hence the Mass Effect 2 (it's awesome) and Dragon Age (also awesome) if you are into this style of game.

Bought the 2 360 Arcade compilations from 06 or 07 over the last few days because the discs were cheaper than downloading the games on the discs I wanted to play (Bejeweled 2, Pac-Man Championship Edition, Feeding Frenzy and Boom Boom Rocket among them.)

Bejeweled 2 probably has the hardest achievements of any XBox Game I've encountered yet. For example, Dead or Alive Beach Volleyball 2's achievements were time consumingly stupid more than they were difficult...you could get all the achievements but it would take you at least a couple hundred hours of gameplay. Many of the Bejeweled achievements rely on well...luck basically. I don't know how better to describe it. The only one you can really get without relying on the hand of god is the puzzle mode.

I just finished Pac-Man Championship Edition (A Pac-Man game that actually ends without a Killscreen since it's time based :p :p) and popped into a couple of the older Maddens (07 and 08.) My buddy and I split the cost of Terminator Salvation so I'll probably sit and run through that soon since I hear it's a 1 day play. After that, I'll probably start cleaning up my empty achievements on Smackdown vs. Raw '07-09.
