Gamers...what are you playing right now?

Fight Night Round 4 is the "newer" game sitting by the XBox right now. I don't really like it as much as 3, which I thought was the best/most fun boxing game since Mocap Boxing back in the day. I kind of tossed it aside and went off to Smackdown vs. Raw 2008, Madden '07 and Madden '09 which were in the "to play" queue. I'm probably gonna pick up a couple of the old NHL games for 360 tonight and play through those since EB had them on sale for like...$3.

My buddy and I split the cost of Terminator Salvation too since we saw it at the store for $10 and neither of us wanted to pay the whole price :laugh: It's awful. The game dazzles you with...get this...FIVE types of villains and FOUR different guns. The levels aren't proportioned either. The first two and last two levels combined are as long as the fourth level alone. Funny thing is ... Christian Bale wouldn't release the use of his likeness or voice John Connor in the game and I can't say I blame him.

Laura's gone back to Fallout 3 since she bought all the expansions (minus the space one) and didn't play them, but come tonight, she'll probably get into Final Fantasy XIII (she found out I was accompanying a buddy to pick up his pre-order and wants me to get a copy for her ... booooo)

So there it is... $6 on games for me tonight, $80 for her :p :p

Just to update my gaming status - I've just completed Lego Indiana Jones, 100% and 1000 gamer points ( my first completion ).

I'm very close to completing Lego Batman too ( about 93% done so far ), just playing through the Arkham Asylum levels on Free Play to grab canisters, bricks and hostages. In terms of achievements, I need to do the Wayne Manor bonus level and a couple of others ... shouldn't be long though.

Then I don't know what to get into next. I have to complete COD 4 on easy, then COD 4,5,6 on veteran. I've got COD 2 & 3 to go at, plus FIFA 08 and 09 ........ just so many decisions. Plus I need to get into Assasins Creed - so far just done the tutorial

GOW is the one franchise that makes me a little regretful that I don't own a PS3. I loves me some deicide, and GOW has TONS of it.
 
Right now I'm playing Bad Company 2, its the first battlefield game I've played and I'm Loving every minute of it, its so much more tactical and team based not to mention realistic than that other game, if your a fan of FPS or have been playing MW2 and your fed up with all the BS i would definitely recommend it. over all i thinks its a much more enjoyable experience and i doubt I'll be going back to that Pre Pubescent Glitchy lag filled camper fest overall broken game known as MW2 any time soon

Heroes of Might and Magic V.

I played this before but its the only game I found I have to play without a video card. Video card maybe in a couple weeks!

Other game I haven't played but can't play: Fury 3. Reason: no floppy drive. ;)

I have the game but have only played 4 hours so far 'cuz I'm too busy to play right now. Is the game still good after 35+ hours (a simple yes or no will do...don't reveal me anything!)?

Yeah...my gf is into it for about 40 hours right now...I haven't questioned her sanity, because I don't know that I could play the game myself. I'm from the old style turn based RPGs where everybody waits for the others to do their magic spells and then react accordingly :p

I can only guess where you are 4 hours in Gab, and I've only been watching the gameplay from the peanut gallery in the back, but it seems to get better.

This is not intended to be a spoiler, however, I do recommend you either buy the guide book, or find a good guide online on item levelling and learning how to utilize your focuses properly. Neither of these two things are explained particularly well in-game and the earlier you have an understanding, the smoother the gameplay experience will be for you.
 
My 360 has cratered :|

I don't have the red ring of death but as soon as it begins to load the start screen it freezes and the ring becomes a circulating green light and it remains frozen indefinitely. Does anyone have any experience with this?

Well, my boyfriend bought me the game and guide knowing full well what would happen! Ha ha!
