Gamers...what are you playing right now?

I'd love to play it, but refuse to spend $60 on a game that is going to cost me an additional 15 bucks a month to play it.

I am supremely disinterested in playing any DCU game that includes Batman, GL and Martian Manhunter...but not as playable characters.

A little late to the dance but picked up Red Dead Redemption on boxing day and just loving this! Just amazing but then again I still like Tempest!

Been playing the hell out of Kinect Sports. Probably need to get into Biggest Loser and establish a routine but I'm having more fun with Sports.

for all Call of Duty Black Ops Gamers, this weekend is double XP weekend, so good time to level up

On a less masculine note, I'm playing Lego Harry Potter with Laura. They fixed a lot of what was wrong with the Lego SW II engine, though the way they've done the split screen throws you off a bit because of the giant array of color and everything at all turns. It's a good way of saying goodbye to the existing engine since I heard (bit won't believe till I see) they're giving Lego SWIII a reboot and new engine.

I'm hearing Lego Harry Potter is $10 at Staples now. If anybody's on the fence about buying it for full or half price, this game is definitely a steal at $10. There's more to do once you're complete with story mode than any other Lego game...after finishing the story mode (which is probably 10-12 hours gameplay maybe?) you've probably got to put another 15 into getting to 100% after which there are certain achievements you can only get after you've 100%'d the story mode...and getting there is a bit more difficult than some of the past Lego games.

A couple FAQs I've read online recommend 35 hours to get all achievements, but I think it's attainable in 25...maybe.

Only thing to keep in mind if you want to do everything the right time is that no characters have dark magic out of story mode, and you have to find a character with dark magic traits to be able to get everything. BUT...most of the Dark Magic characters are hidden behind Dark Magic unlocks. I found one available through regular magic in level 2-5 where you fight the giant spider. You can use the exploder spell on a treasure chest in front of the Spider and you unlock one of the Malfoys and then you should be good to go from there.

Hmm I haven't hooked anything up except for my NES since moving to my new house. I am curretly playing Battlekid for NES.... It is so awesome. I still love that xmas present. You have to try it if you are into retro gaming.

So damn much on the plate right now on PS3 or I'd hook mine up and give Metal Gear another run through.

Finished Harry Potter the other night, and I'm just working on 100%-ing it. After that, I might get started on Dragon Age I since I preordered II and then found the first one for $15 at the local pawn shop (went in hoping I could capture Darren magic but I think everybody else beat me to it :p)

Outside of that, there's been a lot of Smackdown vs. Raw 2011 lately. Not a fan of some of the changes they made compared to 2010 which I thought was the best SvR game in 5 years, but man, the community creation addition is AWESOME (tm Miz) and makes this game hard to top. Nothing beats downloading almost picture perfect CAWs other people have done the work on, and streaming their theme songs for entrance. Having not told Gordon (Shaboobala) and Jon (Bebop) who or what I'd downloaded, Gordon nearly peed himself laughing during a Royal Rumble when Muhammed Hassan came out of nowhere with his trademark entrance theme and started dumping guys over the top rope.

Outside of that, I had no idea who about half the roster was since I don't follow WWE outside of us watching the Rumble and Wrestlemania every year. This Vance Archer dude, for example, came and went and I'd never even heard of him.

100%'d and 1000/1000'd Lego Harry Potter last night. Unlike past Lego games, there aren't any ridiculously tedious achievements that you have to grind out for an extended period of time (unlike Indiana Jones which I haven't bothered going back to because I don't want to start 50 planes with the mechanic, etc,) and once I unlocked Valdemort, it only took about 30 minutes afterward to sort through the rest of the achievements. The only drawbacks to the game are that it is glitched as all **** in Free Play (the game's supposed to recognize which characters you need to have to do the crucial free play in-game things and extras, and it often doesn't,) and one button controlling almost every spell is a pain, especially when playing co-op. Still...probably the best of all the Lego games.

Don't know what's next...Laura's moved onto Fallout: NV, and I may spend some time playing Little Big Planet 2 now until Fight Night Champion comes out on the 1st.

Hey what other games have you got a platinum trophy in?? I have platinum for WWE Legends of Wrestlemania, Sly Cooper 1, Sly Cooper 2, and one more that for some reason I can't think of.... I don't go after them unless I can easily get them on a single play through. Most games I finish, i get about 30% of the trophies and then I am done with.

Platinum Trophy? That's full completion of achievements right? Sorry, I'm a 360 guy...my PS3 is used very sparingly as a Bluray and Netflix (I prefer the nav system on PS3 better than 360) player, and I think I have like 4 actual games for it.

Off the top of my head, I know I have full completion of...Lego Harry Potter, Lego Batman, Cabela '08, Lost, Legends of Wrestlemania, TMNT, a few older sports games and Bully. I think I have it for Pac-Man Championship Ed. as well. There are a handful of EA games that I've completed for offline stuff too, and can't get achievements for the online things because the servers were shut down. There are also a few games I'm a couple achievements away from but just haven't bothered because the trophies are glitchy.

I'm not really a completionist for having to get like 50/50 achievements, but once I beat the game, if I find the rest are attainable, I may as well. If I enjoy the hell out of the game and don't mind putting more hours into it, I'll go for it though (such was the case with games like these Lego ones and Katamari, which required like 15-20 additional hours of ****ing around after the story mode was over.) I DO try to nail at least 50% of the achievements in a game though before I move on and more if it doesn't require me having to play the game through 12 times.

nucks4cup who you see post here from to time is more of a percentage guy...he goes balls to the wall for that stuff and I think he's sitting at over 60% of achievements attained overall with his games. I'm either high 40s or low 50s overall.

I don't think I've passed my gamertags on to you guys yet, so if you wanna hook up and add me to your friends lists:

So been playing fight night 4.
Got the new Marvel vs Capcom 3. Just love the fighting games.
