Gamers...what are you playing right now?

Off the top of my head, I know I have full completion of...Lego Harry Potter, Lego Batman, Cabela '08, Lost, Legends of Wrestlemania, TMNT, a few older sports games and Bully. I think I have it for Pac-Man Championship Ed. as well. There are a handful of EA games that I've completed for offline stuff too, and can't get achievements for the online things because the servers were shut down. There are also a few games I'm a couple achievements away from but just haven't bothered because the trophies are glitchy.

I'm not really a completionist for having to get like 50/50 achievements, but once I beat the game, if I find the rest are attainable, I may as well. If I enjoy the hell out of the game and don't mind putting more hours into it, I'll go for it though (such was the case with games like these Lego ones and Katamari, which required like 15-20 additional hours of ****ing around after the story mode was over.) I DO try to nail at least 50% of the achievements in a game though before I move on and more if it doesn't require me having to play the game through 12 times.

nucks4cup who you see post here from to time is more of a percentage guy...he goes balls to the wall for that stuff and I think he's sitting at over 60% of achievements attained overall with his games. I'm either high 40s or low 50s overall.

My buddy makes it a habit to get every achievement of every game he plays. He's up to almost 100K achievement points. :whatthehell:

I busted out Tatsunoku vs Campcom on the wii to get me ready for it... I am not sure when I will get around to pick it up.

Well if you are a fan of Capcom games you will probably like it anyway.
It plays like Tatsunoku vs Capcom where there is no lp, mp, hp, lk, mk, hk or even like MvsC2 where there is two levels of punches and kicks.
there is only light, medium and heavy action.

I'm disappointed in the amount of characters in the game. All are very very very easy to unlock. I wish it was more like MvsC2, I have it for the dreamcast and it was nice where you had to earn points to buy the new characters.

Other than that if you can wait it should be a 30$ game by spring.
 
Just picked up the God of War Collection for PS3. I had never played GOW2 before, but I am enjoying playing through the first one again. Also I bought Final Fantasy XIII for PS3 but I got it at such a good price that I resold it for profit before I even played it. Might have to buy another copy when I get done with GOW. Also I just sold Crap Ops on ebay, I can't stand that game, MW2>Crap Ops.
 
Had an hour to kill so pulled out the PS1 and popped in Castlevania: Symphony of the Night. Gave me the urge to play something else PS1 but haven't decided. Thinking either Resident Evil 1 or 2, Lunar or FFVIII
 
So many unopened games, so little time right now. Still need to work through Dead Space Extraction, then Dead Space 2, then Two Worlds 2, plus all the Wally World dicount specials - Heavenly Sword, Williams Pinball Collection, and The Saboteur.

If you play on online ranked match it will make you update rosters no matter what. You have to get online to get the new rosters and there should be a option "check for roster updates" under play now. Hope that helps but it has always been very very easy for me.

My brother had disconnected the internet a the time I was updating.
Which I found out later.
 
Feels like so long since I've posted here even though it's probably only been about 2 weeks...

...playing Mafia II right now. It's...good. It's not great, but it's good. I went straight to hard mode and started playing that and I think I'm on the 2nd last chapter now. The biggest gripe I have about this game is so much of it is based on luck. I was stuck on one chapter (chapter 12 I think) because of a car chase. I kept getting gunned down with little recourse about 10 seconds into the chase. I wouldn't even be able to round the first turn and I'd be shot to death...or they'd ram the car and shoot me to death. I thought this was it, and it made the game completely unplayable from that point on since I couldn't even last 10 seconds (you yourself can't shoot while driving either, further complicating things) ...what ended up happening was on try 30-something, I managed to round the first corner, and the people chasing me hit a cop car or something and I was able to drive off into safety. I don't know what happened since all I heard were the gunshots stop and I kept driving. Nothing but dumb luck.
 
Red Dead Redemption: Undead Nightmare....I'm addicted to Undead Overrun on Xbox Live...it's like Nazi Zombies on COD, but even more fun......best $20 I've spent on a game in a looooooooong time. I'd highly recommend going out to pick up the stand alone disk, even if you weren't a fan of the full Red Dead game, since you don't need the original to play Undead Nightmare....
 
The new Pac-Man which is half price on XBL this week

... so...good. This comes from an anal gaming purist who usually wants to kick designers that reboot old franchises in the nads.

I probably could've played it all night last night had I not had to work this morning...and also play a hateful half hour of Mafia II where I'm stuck at the end of Chapter 14 and trying to make it past. This is turning out to be worse than the time I got stuck on the last mission of GTA where I kept driving like a donkey and losing the dude on the motorbike. By the time I actually finished the last mission in GTA IV, I could make it through without getting hit once. It's getting that way now pre-final part of Chapter 14. :(
 
I will be playing through Uncharted 2 once I decide if I take it back to EB and take advantage of the 2 for $40 deal that FS and Best Buy will be putting on this week.

If you have Uncharted 2 Rod, see if someone can sell you the DLC codes for cheap since the only difference between regular edition and GOTY are DLC and fancy packaging.
 
Been playing Batman Arkham Asylum again.... but also.....

CASTLE CRASHERS... It was on sale so I finally bought it. It took me a while until I fell in love with it. It is so fun. If anyone else has it on ps3. Just add me to your friends list so we can destroy some stuff :) my gamer name is troyjk... pretty easy.
