Gamers...what are you playing right now?

The new Pac-Man which is half price on XBL this week

... so...good. This comes from an anal gaming purist who usually wants to kick designers that reboot old franchises in the nads.

I probably could've played it all night last night had I not had to work this morning...and also play a hateful half hour of Mafia II where I'm stuck at the end of Chapter 14 and trying to make it past. This is turning out to be worse than the time I got stuck on the last mission of GTA where I kept driving like a donkey and losing the dude on the motorbike. By the time I actually finished the last mission in GTA IV, I could make it through without getting hit once. It's getting that way now pre-final part of Chapter 14. :(

I had trouble with a mission on the bike(one where you had to kill a girl's boyfriend.....end up falling off the bike jumping into another car and actually catching them that way.....I guess I suck at video games but...still have fun.

I am playing GTA 4 again....stopped for a long time. not sure if I'll keep at it or not.....I always end up screwing around and kill cops(and use the cheats to reduce wanted levels..if under 2 stars).

When do you get to the 2nd island?...yea I am that far behind

Over the weekend popped in Resident Evil on playstation. Finished on Sunday so I threw in Resident Evil 2. Just finished it tonight. Not sure what's next on the agenda but I've been enjoying going back and playing some of my old playstation games.

Picked up HomeFront last morning...wasn't impressed with the story mode at all, but I only made it through about 3 'scenes' before having to hit the bed for work tonight...gonna try out the multiplayer later today and hope it is worth the bank I dropped on it...

Oh geez dude...that bike mission where you have to kill Javon or whatever his name is is the single hardest mission in the game. The trouble with jumping into a car is that you need a really good and really fast car because his bike is pretty good and he whizzes through traffic like nothing.

You're coming to a major point in the game as well...hopefully you chose to kill the right person when you had the chance :)

The last piece of the map (Fake New Jersey) I believe is when you start working for Ray Bocino, which is about 60%? 70%? of the way into the story mode (keep in mind the in-game percentage isn't indicative of how far you are into the game.) You end up having to drop something off in fake NJ, so you unlock it through that natural progression.

I finished playing Champion for now. So I'm working through 3 games right now...

-Split/Second for 360 (good premise, but hard for racing novices to get into.)
-MLB 2K11 which I just got in the mail a couple days ago to review.
-Katamari Forever for PS3. FINALLY bought after trading into Blockbuster for their ridiculous DVD trade-in promo. Grabbed about $550+ in store credit from it, and stopped into another BBV on the off chance that they had the Katamari game, and surprisingly they did so I snapped it up when he told me it was $25. At $24.99, the game is still more expensive than it is on Amazon or on the off chance that you find it retail anywhere except for EB, but I was tired of waiting, and well...I gotta find a way to use store credit somehow.

Sadly, all the waiting hasn't been worth it so far. I love the Katamari games, and this one SO FAR is just recycled stages with different goals. I believe I'm only about 25% of the way through though, so hopefully there are some new stages/landscape to screw around with before it's all over.

Finishing WWE All Stars in anticipation of the release date / review going live tomorrow morning.

It's a fantastic game, though I'd have a hard time justifying who would enjoy it the most. Smackdown vs. Raw devotees would be back playing SvR within a week, and outside of that market, I don't know what other type of market there is for the game.

Picked up Crysis 2 and Bulletstorm, thanks to EB's crazy deals. Haven't really tried either of them yet, still trying to wrap my head around the 3DS....

Rented the new Tiger Woods on the weekend. I've gotten a few rounds in and it's pretty good. If I had a complaint and this could just be me, but it seems like the load time between holes is a bit longer than it used to be. Oh well gives me time to read a post or two on here in between holes.

Still waiting for the PSN to be back up to play black ops but in the mean time been playing golden eye on the trusty N64

I picked up Batman: Arkham Asylum during boxing week but didn't get around to playing it until this weekend. I remember one of my co-workers raving about this game when it came out but always just said I'd get around to playing it. I'm glad I finally did. I've had the last couple days off work so I've already finished story mode including finding the 240 riddler clues. I'll probably spend some time with challenge mode but I think it's time to figure out what's next.

I bought a psp from a kid for 50 bucks this week. I have never played one until now. I bought GOW chains of olympus. Its a sweet game... too short though just like most of the GOW games.
